Your point is valid we go~12 miles a day but my wife will have to go run all over in a day sometimes that will take on a trip that will out streatch the abilities of the electric car hence our logic in puchasing a prius. I recently bought a scooter it is a gas powered ride it can go 70 yet get 70 mpg not a bad deal when you look at that and I only paid 1K for the 86 honda elite. Problem is it is a bike and weather here sucks. Trade offs?
