@primekittie St Ann's Hospital is the only hospital I know of in Trinidad that is dedicated to mental illness. It has a stigma because people don't know or want to know about the place, but it is actually a very comfortable and sheltered environment that helps encourage their recovery. If you talk to the doctors there, I'm sure they can advise you on how to admit a patient who refuses to go himself.
