Haha - another classic example of NEC Ave poor sprite handling in game. They NEVER compiled the sprites down into single layers/instances. They totally didn't give a shit.
Whoa, the PCE version of Hellfire looks great compared to the Genesis version: better weapon upgrades, intuitive enemy weak spots, great music. The main weapon sounds a little weak though. And hey, at least the blue haired girl lived, right?
@khhnator If you watch the other level videos, you'd see that he can't die. He took 2 shots and ran into 3 structures that I counted, 2 of them back to back in level 5. Either he's playing tool-assisted or he's got some super easy mode to demo this game in it's entirety because I can assure you taking one hit or crashing equals death in this game. Watch the other videos, aside from this level, the enemies don't really seem to be fighting back at all, plus he obliterates most bosses super easily.
id be mad if i spent all this money on the cd system and then the games sound effects sound like shit. but the music isnt bad. yeah im confused too.

I still can't believe that this game would give us a downer/bittersweet ending after all that hard work...

If you look at the Warning screen at 6:27, the white text pointing to the ship says "TETRIS"

They declared bankruptcy in 1994. So you're about 14 years too late to dell them to die, heh heh heh...

It was probably NEC Avenue's fault...I hope.
Doesn't really matter now...no more sequels to Out Zone, sigh :(

Sad endings like that seem to happen a lot in many anime games.
