  • Franks! All the way! Totally agree.

  • I made this today for my hubby's birthday. It was really good! I will grill the fish next time-no butter needed for that! Thank you for the wonderful recipe!

  • IS THE FISH COOKED ON A GEORGE FOREMAN GRILLE?? LOOKS YUMMY!

  • i like adding cream cheese to my grits

  • Man I just made this and what can I say? It was off the hook!

  • i tried the fish this evening soo good! next im going to try you baked mac and cheese for my coworkers, I'm so excited

  • Looks great. This is for dinner tonight. A change I'd make: Start with the grits, and when they are simmering, cook your fish... that way it should all be done about the same time. I use Tony's Creole Seasoning, which is available online and at a few stores.

  • LOL! Im always boiling things over on the stove! Thumbs up for the laugh! Thanks!

  • I am soo jealous of your husband!!! Lawdhavemercy! You're a good woman!

  • So! I tried this last week, however it was REALLY salty. Guess I went to heavy on the seasoning...I could taste the potential tho! I will not use salt nextime. Just the cajun seasoning and the old bay. The thinner the fish, the less seasoning you need. Thanks for the recipe!

  • Looks delicious! I'm definitely going to make this! Thanks for sharing. :)

  • I never had grits like that everything looked bomb including the cook now its time to try this out

  • I can not WAIT to try this recipe! Hubby and I went to Ruby Tuesday yesterday and I absolutely LOVE their Lousiana seafood dish. It's basically a cajun tilapia! THEE best. I told him I MUST find a cajun tilapia recipe and low and behold "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH" I check out this recipe! THANKS MO! I just might do a video response! I'm scary tho!

  • Never had fish and grits, but looking forward to trying it. I did order shrimp and grits once while visiting N. Carolina and loved it.

  • FISH N GRITS ARE A CLASSIC N MY FAMILY.... MY GRANDMA MAKE FRIED FISH N GRITS!!!! IT STICKS TO UR RIBS!!! NOW THATS SOUL FOOD!!

  • I'm laughing now thinking back to when I made a quick breakfast for two using Quaker instant grits, butter flavored right?? I was so proud that everything looked picture perfect, then he tasted the grits and made the ugliest face, saying- ugggghhh, these grits are fckd!!! I got mad, threw his orange juice at him and quite simply left the dining room. When I came back the OJ was cleaned up and he was obediently choking down those grits, never looking up from his plate. Poor thing, lololololzz!!

  • what is grits? :(

  • Will making this recipe...soon! Thanks for all you do.

  • Sounds and looks really good:) I'm gonna try that:)

  • Yummy.Sadly there are no grits here in Greece, but my friend Google told me that I can use ground maize and make my own grits. Thanks for sharing that wonderful recipe !

  • @ChinchillaChannel258 If you can order some online, I suggest you try a really "great tasting" and convenient brand called Quaker Instant Grits, just add water and I guarantee your hubby (or hubbies- as we've seen) will praise the ground you walk on. Yep, take it from experience, you absolutely can not go wrong with Quaker Instant Grits, I recommend the "butter" flavored- guaranteed to make a happy home, HTH!!!

  • Delish! I have to try this during the weekend!

  • I now know how to make grits!! Thank You!!!! :D

  • wow that looks good,can i get a plate?

  • OKAY MO I KNOW THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HE RECIPE BUT I COULDNT COMMENT ON YOUR BLOG POST FOR SOME REASON. I WAS READING THE POST ABOUT THE MOP AND IF YOU SAID YOU WISHED THE MOP HAD A SPRAY FEATURE. WELL YOU HAVE GOT TO TRY THE SHARK STEAM MOP. I LOVE THAT MOP IT HAS THE WASHABLE PADS YOU ONLY NEED WATER AND BEST OF ALL IT SANITIZES ( BECAUSE OF THE HOT STEAM). AND YOU NEED TO POUR NO WATER ON THE FLOOR YOU JUST FILL THE TANK WITH WATER AND MOP AWAY LOL. I THINK YOU SHOULD TRY IT OUT.

  • Very nice recipe!

  • that was good and funny! I am an avid fish and grits eater but I never cook my grits with broth. I eat grits almost daily so I will try it with broth this week.
