@Dollreviewz155 It's not about how much more pure you get by wearing it. It's a way of telling the world, and particularly guys, that you aren't just a random girl who's gonna sleep around on a whim. You are making a statement of belief. It also is out there to remind yourself 'cause we all know that just because we wear a ring doesn't mean the tempations go away. Just something to think about. I'm personally a big fan. I think they are also that much more attractive to guys.

I will admit that I had no idea what a purity ring was until I became a fan of the Jonas Brothers, BUT I didn't get mine just because of them. I was 11 when I got mine, and I'm 13 now.

All purity rings do is make people get married earlier so they can start having sex. They don't make people wait. You should be able to get married with a clear mind and not be getting married on the basis of your hormones.

A good portion of Japanese hotel rooms are literally the size of coffins; pods that you sleep in. This is due to lack of space. If you have ever been to a large city, you will see that overpopulation is no joke.

It feels amazing because thats what he wanted it to do. I mean come on, He has man human beings have a great qualities. But He meant for it to be between a man and a woman, married, under the covenant of God. Not just with anyone. & Technically, protection doesn't always work. Avoid STDs, and pregnancy: abstinence.

@WashingMachine0 its not about being a tight ass..its more about wanting to dedicated yourself to one person because you want to be truely in love with the person you have sex with and want more then just to "feel good". A lot of girls who give into that , believe it or not feel they are doing something degrading and regreat it later or even become depressed. Yes not all girls , but many of them who actually care about and still believe in love.

I don't think you really get the idea of a purity ring. I'm getting one, and the reason why is because I want to save myself for my husband. I don't want to have sex with a ton of different guys, I want to be pure for my future husband.

I don't know what country you live in, but in the US you sign document when you're married...if that's what you're talking about. Otherwise I don't see the need of signing a document when you've been with someone for a very long time that you basically consider him/her as your spouse. what about people that have like financial/family problems that they can't get married?

The fact that girls just wear them because of the JoBros is so wrong. I am christian and I personally do not wear a purity ring, because of a few reasons I know if I start wearing one, people will say I'm just wearing it because of the Jonas Brothers. I first heard of them when my cousins got theirs when they were 13. I think the decision to wear a purity ring should come when you are mature enough to understand. I am now 18 and considering getting one just so other people know about my choice.

I am trying to to even kiss till marriage. I have before. But I want to stay as pure as i am capable of staying from here on out. I want to try and make someone feel as special as i am capable of.
To me, it is probably unlikely i will ever get to experience being with a girl that is a virgin. But i would think it is the most precious gift, and couldn't imagine feeling more love, honour or respect.
