Ok the only question I have is where his name came from. I've been doing this glitch since before PS1. Everyone knows him as Ashura, and I haven't questioned it until now, but since he's only a palette glitch and as far as I know an unofficial character, how did he get that "official" name? Is it the same story as Nazo?

@landovers: No problem. Just suddenly came to mind. Someone did make a demo for PSP called Ashura, but it's unofficial. It sure would be something if he somehow did become a new character. It would make more sense than Sega (Nintendo) randomly making up more characters such as the case of Blaze and Silver. Speaking of green hedgehogs and random characters, Sonic Underground was the worst piece of crap show ever.

Ashura was a sprite glitch that occured when someone used Debug and made waterfalls in a certain way. Ashura wasn't meant to be a part of Sonic 2 and has never made a return since Sonic 2 therefore, its pretty safe to say that the only reason he's even in is cause of a bug. The name Ashura was given to him by the person who found the bug.
