I would... how many people who own a HCCA actually have theirs facing up or down? id say 50%.. no other sub out there that i know off have to be facing up/down.
i know orion suggest to either have the sub facing up or down.. carnt really see it doing to much damage as which other sub needs to be sitted like that. think its only for when maximun excursion- xmax which when the voice coil actually leaves the magnet motor and this making it out off linear response and the voice coil may hit the motor during movement
Is it cold in the winter where u Live?? If it is then that could be the problem.. If u play you subs loud with out letting them warm up then you can fuck the cones up
@RMatnerYea Bro the winter can fuck your system up.. Wut i mean by warming up is when you start your car dont turn your radio up real quick let your subs play on low vol 4 a while then slowly turn it up..
i want to build a box for two orion hcca and i would love to face them forward what you think

it has been cold yes... didnt know subs needed warming up.. also when i had it out the box the magnet was damp ect.....

Never seen the recone kits for sale here in the uk... only in america and they were fairly expensive.
