I've haven't played Age Of Empires 3, I'm just wondering... Since this AOE is more accurate than the previous ones, does that mean that every civilization have major technology differences?... for instance, did they make the Western civilizations the most powerful ones (British, Spanish, French, American, etc.)?

This video game is not very accurate. Obviously, the game makers did some researches, but their researches were not enough. They confused the Ming Dynasty with the Manchu Qing Dynasty, that's the biggest error of the game. During the 15th century, China was under the rule of Ming Dynasty, so the soldiers should wear Han Chinese style costumes instead of Manchu costumes.
i think the chinese troopers are weaker then other races troopers but you can make them much easior. another thing that sucks for the chinese is their population limit is 130 which right there tells you they are for rushing. unlike the indaina which take much time to build an army but are strong and cannot rush as easy with them but build up a stronger army

It doesn't really make one army in one click, just 6 units, which is just 1 more to the limit with one click than of other factions (except the Japanese when they have used the upgrade in the Consulate). Some of the banner armies also make 5 or 4 units, so I wouldn't say that it makes armies really quickly!

We're all technically descendants from people who were originating in Africa and Asia. So if you want to look at it that way... but that was a completely different time, ranging back thousands of years, so 'China' never wanted to expand.

This video game is not very accurate. Obviously, the game makers did some researches, but their researches were not enough. They confused the Ming Dynasty with the Manchu Qing Dynasty, that's the biggest error of the game. During the 15th century, China was under the rule of Ming Dynasty, so the soldiers should wear Han Chinese style costumes instead of Manchu costumes.

i think the chinese troopers are weaker then other races troopers but you can make them much easior. another thing that sucks for the chinese is their population limit is 130 which right there tells you they are for rushing. unlike the indaina which take much time to build an army but are strong and cannot rush as easy with them but build up a stronger army

It doesn't really make one army in one click, just 6 units, which is just 1 more to the limit with one click than of other factions (except the Japanese when they have used the upgrade in the Consulate). Some of the banner armies also make 5 or 4 units, so I wouldn't say that it makes armies really quickly!

Best civilization in AOE3, if you know how to play with them. Doesn't matter if its a rush game or treaty. Amazing economy...probably even better than french eco (again, if you know how to play with them).

if u like rts games where u need some skill and games dont last 180 minutes of camping (.. u can play it like that but its more fun playing it actually WITH skill) buy it!
im in love with this game, it reminds me of warcraft in a way with some aspects of games like the settlers: not so much action but still very cool!

this is just me being paranoid. at the beginning it says china 15th century. that was during the Ming dynasty. but the homecity ruler of china in the game is kangxi, emperor of china from 1661-1722. that was during the Qing dynasty. so in aoe3, which is china modeled after? Qing or Ming dynasty??????

they was a mistake on the chinese side in the game , it should be Ming Dynasty at that time but the game developer put the later Qing Dynasty style on it .
