Speaking of big, have you read about the Crannell Creek Giant, documented in the early 1900s at near 70,000 cubic feet, much bigger than General Sherman? The General is the current leftovers. Coast redwoods actually have the genetic potential to become the largest and tallest. It will take centuries to repeat though.
This is just amazing,just amazing, it saw the rise of civilizations, gives us the hope of live longer life span, if there are seeds for sale of this tree ill plant them here in Europe!
