taking out the heatsink on the 360

For somereason my flat looking heatsink isnt coming off, both of the 2 x-clamps have already been removed

This didn't work, i already voided the warranty cleaning my broken 2 red light xbox, and wanted to take out the heatsinks, but the cross holds wouldn't pop off like this, and i also tried force and didn't work... What do i do? (Newer 2009 xbox)

to take it out get a flat headed screwdriver that is very small put the board sideways so u could see the x-clamps sideways than u put the screwdriver in the space between the hook than twist it. if u need more help i ll try and put a video to show u

u take it out so u could make an x-clamp mod to try to fix it so u could put thermal paste on the cpu and the gpu. my was like that too, i tried everything to try to fix it since the warrenty sticker was broken but it never work the best thing i did was the swap. u could also try to buy a brand new warranty sticker from ebay put it on your xbox than try and send it to micrisoft i did that but my dumb ass put the sticker upside down and at the wrong place lol.

it's only gonna work if your screwdriver is the right size...it's easier coming in fron the top and digging in and out...
