@ finks...I was in the mezzanine, Row M. Balcony will be higher up but it's not a huge theater. If you want to ditch your tickets you can use a coupon code, I found one that worked that saved me $50/ticket by searching American Idiot promotion code on Google. It was AITIX and some numbers if you're interested. Enjoy the show..the sight lines are great so even far on the side there was no obstruction of the view.
were you in the balcony? I've only ever been to NYC once, never to a theatre down there. I'm from Toronto Canada. I'm going to the 2pm show this Sunday, and am in the right balcony. could you see alright? it looks kinda far...

I switched to my camera vs my phone and I stayed crouched in one spot. As for camera technique no apologies, I was there to catch Green Days fist and maybe only Broadway perfomance. Shakey cam rules!
i won tickets to this...front row in the orchestra section...but cause i live in Chicago, i had a hard time pulling a trip outta my ass like this. i figured whatever, it's just the same broadway performance it'll be in the summer...but NOOOOOOOOO they had to play....i wanna shoot myself
