my first comp costs me 1400$ ( my whole summer student work .. )

i got a 17" super old huge screen

1ghz CPU , 256 SDRAM , Voodoo 32mb , hard drive 10 gig, 3 games , C&C tuberium suns and can't remember the rest , + keyboard & mouse , and guess what , it was a good deal back then ... in the '96

my last one was about 800$ ( 3 years old ) Athlon XP 3600+ (2.7ghz) 1gig ram , 40 gig HD + 120gig HD Sapphire x1600XTX 256 mb 600W PSU XP sp3 and finally the one im using now , 900$ ( 2 months ago ) AMD phenom 64 Quad core (2.3ghz) 4gig ram , 640 gig HD sata drive Sapphire HD4850 512 mb 650W PSU vista 64

Athlon XP one have a 19" flatscreen

and the AMD Phenom one have a 22" HD flatscreen with DVI/HDMI connectors

When I originally got it.. Around 1500 bucks. Nowadays, I could get something extremely high end for that price..

I just happened to build it when prices were high..

My ram was around 200, now it's 40. My cpu, 360 and now it'd be like 180.

Gpu - 320.. Now.. 100 bucks max.

06-now, desktop's where very pricey. Unlike now

which you can have a $700-$1100 computer (desktop) which can run Crysis on medium to high graphics. A laptop that costs that much

can barely even run BioShock.

You should invest in buying the Valve Complete Pack from steam, plus you'll save......uhh...uhhhh..... A lot of money....

But thats only if you like them.

I did enjoy the olympic hide and seek episode where they're playing hide and seek all over the world and it takes like 8 years to win.

Half life 2 was released 5 years ago :) end of 04, i member cause i got it the same day i got halo 2

Yeah.. HL2 is pretty old now, but the episodes aren't. Episode 2 came out about two years ago with The Orange Box.
