CSX Z480 Prepares To Depart Connellsville Yard

Very entertaining video. I live in Connellsville and have hundreds of W&LE photos. No video yet. I am curious as to why this is called CSX Z480 and not a WE train since it will be using W&LE trackage a majority of the way, and going to Rook Yard.

Suggestion: seems like you should've chosen the 16:9 aspect ratio when uploading. It's squished!

A cool thing to consider doing: You have a scanner, so why not take the output of that into a mixer and have both your mike input and the audio from the radio? E.g., at Guitar Center, a 4 input mixer is about $50.

Thanks for commenting! That's a sure shame.. Honestly this " Obama Layoff. " is nothing but a thorn in our sides. I may be 15, but it sure annoying seeing him run our country amok. I'm not entirely sure what you may be meaning with my scanner input to the video, but my scanner broke around Christmas of 09'.. I just do the fun way, blind and clueless. Thanks again, and sorry about the loss of your job.. May you get it back in the near future

@xxxDeath9572xxx Hi. Thanks for your good wishes. You seem mature for 15. As to the scanner, I thought I heard radio chatter and you or your helper holding a radio up to the mike on the camera. You do a good job on the vids, too. I have a gov't job in Calif - w/Mao-Bama in charge, they're the only ones hiring. I do see CSX hiring conductors in Connellsville, but I'm too close to retiring. I've heard about the CSX Connellsville Yard hiring again.. Good sign I hope. Shame your so close; but I'm sure you enjoyed all the time you did spend with CSX.

Yeah, they've been repainted into WE colors, but still retain the original " Rio Grande " font lettering. Wheeling's only 2 SD40-2T's are original Rio Grande's still wearing they're original livery, and everything else. The only difference is they have a little patch on them above the numbers that say " WE "
