  • "From Tahrir Square to Syntagma Square, we support you!" Road To Taxim Square

  • Vassili, you have stolen our hearts with your enourmous talent!! Keep the music playing...don't ever stop!

  • be true to your roots and sing the original lyrics.

  • ζιτω C.O.T.R.....και ευχαριστω παρα πολυ για το upload

  • I love this song a good fusion of many rhythms. But I heard some of the lyrics. There is a genocide in Iraq and I don't really care about your american troops. We have been bombed into oblivion with nuclear waste running in our bloodstream. Still It's a good song. But for peace to be achieved there must be JUSTICE.

  • @arabwomanblues Dear: Justice will come AFTER peace. Peace does not begin with politicians; it begins in the heart of the individual: with humility, love and self-less actions. I wish that you did care about the Americans there, as that was not their choice but their duty, as commanded by The President. We bleed & die just like you. How many of his own people did Sadam Hussein kill? I salute all who have sacrificed during this Arab Spring for their courage in choosing THEIR OWN COURSES. Amen

  • Translation of Greek Lyrics:

"I look in the eyes of our ancient foes, I see darkness and our children dying, I cant find the end, a way or hope but I hold my luck in my hands.

  • KALO!!!

  • Rembetiko lite . . .

  • This is making me sick...being a purist at heart, it's bastardized the original version from the early 1900's, even the lyrics are off...Xarhakos version in the movie "Rembetiko" back in 1983 is FAR better...and the English singing is gonna make me hurl...

  • efxaristo file

  • para polu wraia doulia!! Mprabw sas paidia..

    Fotis

  • this sounds very familiar to me :D

  • great group!!!

  • who are they?

  • Amazing band!!!

  • That´s great, thanks

  • i have the original song and lyrics my friend,i know, but thanks anyway...i just need these lyrics

  • The lyrics are different from the Stavros Xarharkos one from the movie Rebetika 'ta paidia tis aminas', which celebrates the attempts to overthrow the monarchy. The original is actually very creepy in parts- 'trexei sto potami to aima tou exthrou' - the rivers will run with the blood of the enemy. Awesome idea to take the original tune which is very revolutionary sounding and repurposing it! VERY NICE! Bravo paidia.

  • Thanks. Yeah, the old lyrics are a bit, umm, warlike. I tried to make these a bit more uplifting.

    V
