Have anyone tried culex with a less than 21 lvl and without the defensive lazy shell and the safety ring? That way the fight becomes a nightmare...

Culex is a boss from final fantasy, and i guess who ever made mario rpg said it would be cool if a boss from an other game was in a Mario game. (Im just taking a guess here)

It basically eliminates any stat boosts that you used.

I used Mario with lazy shell, Peach with the frying pan and the lazy shell armor and safety badge so she would only take like 1 damage each time and can heal continuously and Geno so that I can spam Geno Flash.

Squaresoft should do more Mario games, the battle with Culex was hard but it was very enjoyable! Also love the references to FF4.

When I fought this guy when his crystals were destroyed it said Culex' FP IS GONE! It made the fight terribly easy.
