A few points about the translation, if I may...

Japanese sentence structure is quite different, and it doesn't help here that some of the lyrics are written in the equivalent of "Yoda-speak", so a literal translation might miss some of the meaning. For instance...

暗闇に星粒を (Look towards) the stars in darkness;

迷宮に導きを (Look for) guidance in a maze;

失望に終焉を (Look forward to) resolution in despair.

顔を上げて

Here, 「顔を上げて」is applied to the front of every line. Yoda-speak, as it were.

Similarly (curse the word limit), at the start of the second stanza,

さよならは始まりに (You can get past) goodbyes with a new beginning,

寂しさはやさしさに (You can overcome) loneliness with kindness

苦しみは強さに  (You can transcend) hardship with strength

超えてゆける

Makes more sense now, doesn't it?
