Me encantó este video - homenaje a la Callas.... siempre encontré que tenian una caracteristica parecida en la voz.. algo que dijo alguna vez la Gheorghiu , "una lagrima en la voz al cantar" para mi ambas son un ejemplo de eso cuando cantan Puccini... aunque Callas es infinitamente superior además de ser la Divina y un mito todo a la vez.. :)
Don't think I have sufficient or adequate words to describe how stupid and offensive this video, produced by her own record label, is. Misguided comes to mind too. Forced to choose between the two, I'd opt for the original. It's a no brainer. For years some of us have readily detected Gheorghiu's Callas-wannabe, copycat antics, in sound, phrasing and posturing. I for one enjoy my artists but only in the original. Accept no substitutes. Accept no parodies. Accept no shams. Accept no dumbing down
@Scalatti Guessing from your comments on Angela Gheorghiu it sounds like your not a real fan of Angela or do you even care for or to listen to Opera for that matter. Any way you have the freedom to say what you want even if your comments are not true by all means.
@Scalatti realy you cant be that stupid for years calas wannabe?! actualy she is known for sayng that calas wasnt perfect and she realy isnt the best opera singer ever she realy isnt plus you can hear if your not deaf her voice is very diferent
