  • Ruin the song, please make them stop. Please.

  • learn to sing first ! Horrible !!

  • this is not funny

  • This version gives me chills

  • fantastyczne!

  • "Club singer" round, anyone? ;o)

  • This is an amazing performance when live. What makes this video sucks is the fact that this video is recorded by an amateur camera.

  • @808andre UOGB has to learn singing first ! This is horribel !

  • Heh, amazing. :D

  • What fun! I wonder what they are like in person? There is a lot of juice in that performance.

  • @eotto2001 - they have to learn singing first ! Horrible performance !

  • @mikemiller368 You know I wrote that comment it was for another YouTube clip. You're right. If they don't sing they sound better. There are better performers out there I have discovered. All the best.

  • It's like "the Neil Diamond" version!

  • British eccentricity is still alive and well, I think i will trade my guitar for a uke, have watched their version of 'shaft', very good.

  • Its great to see all these different orchesras and musicions making different version of this song... this is when you know that this is great music. Respect for Kurt.

  • hahahaha fantastic

  • It can't hear!!!! For me it's a bad version

  • haha, this is brilliant!

  • horrible

  • this is fun.

  • совсем не плохой перепев. И вобче не нравится слушайте другую версию, вас насильно слушать никто не заставляет.

  • I half to see these guys and gal live

  • HAHAHAH! This is hilarious.

  • haha these haters under my comment... retards... this rox

  • why nobady never sings this song in the same way like kurt cobain???

    easy, it is impossible.....

  • omg i love it. hes got a really funky voice, but in a good way. and i love the ukulele.

  • it's so good!!!!! =)

  • I really liked it! 5*!

  • very nice!!!!! =)

  • THAT FREAKIN' AWSOME!! LOLZ

  • Yeah I like it :)

  • OMG it is Tay Zonday!!

  • He sounds like tay zonday :O

  • straight of G's

  • Great performance and interpretation. You guys should team up with Paul Anka, who also covered this and many others on Rock Swings. That would be a great collaboration.

  • it is so good!!!!!

  • That's noooooot even the point.

  • Look at their Jools Holland performance. It is the best: there's a different lead singer, almost 7 feet tall, and sounds it. And there's a head-banging guy with long silky hair who throws himself completely into it. He also does a cover of "Teenage Kicks" that will never, never be equalled. These guys are making fun, but they love. They love.

  • ha ha they're cool!!!

  • its so cool its on ukeleles!

  • Come on, all you negative poo-pooers, it's comedy, they know it's silly

  • poo-poopers? that's worth a friend invite

  • Glad you got a lol out of that one

  • fantastic, I like the fact they have a sense of humour- kurt couldnt laugh at himself and look what happened to him.

  • they're the entertainers...lame!

  • fark where did i put my shotgun?

  • What the FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!YOU ARE STUPID!!!!!

  • I don't know about you guys, but I like it.

  • hahahaahah que cabron, esta chido we, che vato mala vibra

  • I like the original, and this is also awesome,

    well done.

  • LMAO this is hilarious!

  • \o/ \o\ \o/ /o/ \o/

  • omg sounds like johnny cash ins abarrell

  • Wow, this is the first time I've actually really liked this song :o Well done!

  • Thats interesting.

  • Absolutely love it. You need a sense of humour to get it something some people wouldn't know if it jumped up and made them laugh.

  • Eh, I think this was by far his least favourite of all his songs.

  • Kurdt has a great sense of humor. Loved Weird Al's parody of the song. It seems he would like this too.

  • i think he probably would have!

  • IT IS A UNIQUE STYLE

  • awesome!!

  • I like the way he points too!!! So formal haha!

  • I'd like to see them play tornado of souls. ¬_¬

  • lol.. that sounds like the got diarreah

  • HOMOSEXUAL

  • mozart cobain lol

  • Einfach nur Geil! :D

  • YOU'RE a shit cover and unfnny as hell :)

  • wut lol

  • i like the way he points

  • i wish i new how to play the ukulele!

  • I still like Richard Cheese's cover of Rape Me better, but this is not without it's charm.

    Very well done.

  • C'mon! it sounds so cool, i know it's not the rock-grunge version that will never replace the original but this one sounds so dark and comedic at the same time...like a Tim Burton version hahah

  • i hate art

  • this a really old song from the fifties nirvana just covered it

  • shut up

  • he was making a funny and i liked it so lighten up *thumb up for scrips comment*

  • Cobain wasn't alive in the '50s, and Cobain definitely wrote this song.

  • I thought it was funny haha

  • HJAHAHAHAHA LOLOL

  • The start actually sounded good. the rest was a joke.

  • I'm tired of all these classic music guys covering SLTS. The first time it was funny, but now its just annoying to see that they all ruin this song by taking the rage out.

  • Fascist limey scum!

  • MOAR!

  • senility

  • that was cool

  • Oh come on folks, this is hilarious and endearing, even the band members are laughing at themselves a bit. I'm a Nirvana lover and this is just great.

  • HAHAHA OMG AWESOME!

  • haha well done. 5 stars!

  • Very interesting!

  • LOL at the singer. Nice.

  • that was great.

  • LOL...LMAO......that's hilarious!!!!

  • you kill me

  • smells like... crap.

  • Remeber shooting stars?

"What song is Vic doing in the 'pub style'?"

  • i'm so down

  • The guy singing is the same age as Kurt Cobain.

  • wow, i can finally understand the words.

  • you're a tool

  • cool! i wish the video covered the entire song.. ;)

  • Sounds like the Richard Cheese cover.

  • that was actually by the guy that ripped off richard cheese. If Im not mistaken, Cheese never actually covered the song, though I'm not entirely sure, I just know I havent heard him sing it and I am a big fan.

  • so sweet.

  • A 45 year old man playing a ukulele should not being smelling teen spirit.

  • Hello, hello, hello, hallo?

  • Saw these guys on an episode of Jools Holland yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaars ago... but the guy didn't sing, it was just an instrumental. Sounded a hell of a lot better that way, too.

    Some great ukulele action though!

  • what the fuck?

  • i freakin love to see the ukulele players completely rocking out when the dynamics dont really seem to match.

  • sounds like Richard Cheese. He swankifies all the pop music of the 90s.

  • the singing is hilarious, but the song would sound better without singing, imho.

  • Not to bad, kinda funny hearing the Brits cover a Nirvana song!

  • Kinda funny hearing ukulele's covering a Nirvana song

  • Does the GB in the title happen to stand for Green Bay?

  • Try Great Britain.

  • lol

  • HAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAAA

  • >> jeez old people just leave grunge alone!

All the people who used to listen to grunge ARE old people now

  • I lul'ed

  • Wow. I was expecting a reasonable cover. Instead the jammed the exact same thing as the original. I was expecting some different arrangement.

  • the bass is really doing all the work there...

  • LOL so bad it's hilarious

  • Pretty good.

  • grunge? i think kurt appreciates this cover more so than you referring to this song as grunge.

  • coming from the northwest, i think he would have liked this. did you ever listen to his lyrics?

he didn't want people to like the music just because it was popular, or because people told them to like it. the lyrics said that (not in this song, but in others). those people obviously truly respect him as a musician and wanted to honor him. those are the kind of people kurt wanted listening to his music.

  • Kurt hated this song anyways, so he probably wouldn't care what people do with it.

  • Kurt loved this song until it became so popular. He worked on it for years.

  • Whilst I don't want to presume to know the thoughts of a man I never met, I think Kurt Cobain would have either not cared or found it very amusing, much in the way he found Weird Al Yankovic parodying Teen Spirit to be funny. It was just a song, don't take it so seriously.

  • this isnt that bad i mean all you people complaining about kurt more then likely not liking this you must no know much about him kurt liked alot of music and more then likely would have found this interesting and flattering

God, if Kurt could see this he'd probably shoot himself in the face.

I see what you did there!

  • this guy is a legend of introductory statements.

  • It's awesome that one song can inspire so many different people to do so many different things with it. Whatever form it takes, it's all a form of tribute.

  • A good song is ... a good song.

  • I like this and I think cross-genre remakes are cool. I totally love Paul Anka's redo of Mr. Brightside.

  • dugg

  • Is anyone else remembering that SNL skit with Will Ferrel and Cherie OTerry where they were the terrible married "band".

  • This is actually how Kurt Cobain originally intended the song to be played, but they didn't have enough ukuleles.

  • This is actually how Kurt Cobain originally intended the song to be played, but nobody in they didn't have enough ukuleles.

  • oh come on. its funny as hell and they're actually pretty decent.

  • And I disagree with your disagreement.

  • "Down with the kiddies" That song is 15 years old. These guys all look about 40. For all you know they were 25 and moshing when you were listening to pop music.

  • That song was pop music you dumb shit. It hit number 1 on several pop charts all over the world including the US.

"I was trying to write the ultimate pop song." - Kurt Cobain

  • "All you know about me is what Ive sold you, Dumb fuck. I sold out long before you ever heard my name. I sold my soul to make a record, Dip shit, And you bought one. So Ive got some Advice for you, little buddy. Before you point your finger You should know that Im the man, If Im the fuckin man Then youre the fuckin man as well So you can Point that fuckin finger up your ass." -MAYNARD
  • Maybe not though... look at those musicians. They're about the age where they remember Nirvana and what the music was actually about. So maybe it's not total "bullshit."

  • i really dont know wat to think

  • would have been so much better had they replaced the vocals with more instruments...

I didn't appreciate his singing so much

  • I suppose putting in more vocals and less instrumental was one of the goals of this cover. But I know where you're coming from. It's odd to hear the original with so much instrumental and then hear a cover with very little.

  • I like how 1:06 they all started to rock out it was cool

  • amazing

  • Better than the original.

  • That would make for a very bad trip.

  • than*

  • His voice startled me...
