  • I dedicated this vid for my father in law that just died yesterday morning due to cancer complications. He loved Cream. I still can't believe he's gone!

  • @gamerdamemcfly My mother passed away for the same reasons. Just know that he's not gone, the body that he was using to experience this wonderful thing called life is gone, but he remains in your heart, your mind, and in this song. :)

  • for all the power of the brit rock royalty..cream, zep, yes, sab...it is an american music art form..and all of the aforementioned must bow to the GOD of this genre...JMH ! the end....aye feee-ul fah-reee.

  • 16 yrs old bought this about 9 months after it's release...it changed me almost as much as the fab-4 on sullivan

  • @LanceHelmut It's the power of the British bands! :D

  • no one will listen to Rebecca Black, Kanye West or some other shutty musicain in 50 years ;o but this will still listen to this.

  • @LoLFilmStudios no one ever liked Rebecca Black...

  • @chirpkook forgot about justin ^^ bebee soz.

  • Goood stuff! I came to now this song by a David Bowie cover, which of course is quite different by I even liked it then. This however, my friends kicks even more ass!!! I'm usually not much into 60s music cause the recording quality is poor (soory I thin it is) and the lyrics are sometimes just too f* up but this one is one real good song. Gotta get more of it!

  • If you have your speakers separated properly, and pointed where they should be, the phasing of this cut is extraordinary. You can walk into the middle of this and turn your head to either side toward vocals and instruments. It's not "flat" at all!

  • all in the word must free so all together make a better world

  • i feel what/ fweeeee

  • 30 seconds with voices and clapping for one of the best intro ever. EPIC

  • At age 17 I was let loose in New Orleans in 1968. I bought this record there and the world never was the same.

  • 32 seconds in.... brilliant and unexpected amazing riff...

  • believe in me! this is heavy metal!

  • * * * * *

  • Cruising through the desert on your chopper....thats the feeling of freedom!

  • thumbs up if you think this song has one of the most fucking amazing guitar solos ever ...

  • @riktok Yeah, with Free Bird' solo

  • EPIK

  • as a child i remember this song being so powerful, it just dosen't have the same effect now, that's sad maybe i'm world weary

  • @luvyellowroses1 but on vocals actually on this song it was bruce and clapton together harmonizing

  • this song is so absolutely beautiful

  • 2 people don´t feel free :P

  • my right ear is bleeding

  • @UngKristen

    Why? The song?

  • @UngKristen I would assume the song is beyond masterful, then.

  • Ready to fly...this bunch....

'Perfect song , what's such a special touch here, is that continualy pounding one no♪e, on the piano.

  • Ahhhh....Jack Bruce, the true heart of this fantastic band.....

  • That guitar player might amount to something

  • Maravilhoso ver uma banda como essa , que nos faz lembrar com o Rock era muito bom nesta época.

  • Cream IS NOT a blues rock band from the 60s, Its STILL a blues rock band from the 60s

  • This is a great song to play on the last day of school.

    I FEEL FREE!!

  • @FreddyGuy925 We gotta get out of this place by the animals was the one we used to sing

  • check out my bass cover of this song!!

  • Monty Python's Flying Circus FOSTER CARE FAMILY

  • This is a really cool song by Cream. Too bad they were only together for like, 3 years. Their music was awesome.

  • Cream was the cream of the crop when they were together.

  • One of my favorite solo's to play. I just loved Claptons Les Paul tone on this track

  • Poor sound quality?? What a great song, and WAY too short!

  • really poor sound quality.

  • @arbortender lool

you dont know what you are talking about. you are just mistaking personal taste with music quality

and this music has a great quality, very good instruments separation, well defined soundstage and nice timbre

  • Best. Power trio. Ever.

  • it reminds me of the beach!

  • i love rocking out to this song

  • 2011 saturday nite

    alan and kim

  • Que temazo, no pueden ser tan armonicos!!Como este tipo de rock, con su sencillez, se lleva mas aplausos que toda esa maquinaria remasterizada que usan ahora...GRANDE CREAM!!!!

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • That intro is so catchy. I love it!

  • my question is what was pop then

    has pop changed

you had to go to grimy clubs to hear all this great music that

    wasnt played on pop stations

it is easy to sit back and crop all the sht out of the pic in retrospec

music is still alive and well

always will be and pop will be just that pop

  • @aperfectrain but pop was closer to the garden back than ... today music is about society only xD

  • @aperfectrain back in the day you were popular when you actualy could rock your ass off ; )

  • my question is what was pop then

  • @Fab4Sunrises I would pay to see that.

  • @Fab4Sunrises I'd recommend all three lol.

  • Classic

  • 1960s had great artists no doubt.

2000s have Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Beck, Arcade Fire, My Morning Jacket, The Black Keys and many more great artists.

You can't deny though that that 60s had bad artists as well. It wasn't a flawless decade for music, and no decade is.

  • 1960s had Cream, Clapton [Who I realize was a part of Cream], Hendrix, etc.

2000s have Lady Gaga, Kesha, etc.

    What the HELL happened?

  • @TacoNinja18 totally agree, if you say the same thing, nose and could this happen to music, just do not understand ...

I hate all the music of today, without exception, especially all that crap pop music that is not music, that's business...

jimi hendrix, deep purple, cream, pink floyd, led zeppelin, or even the former Rolling Stones, when they made real rock and blues.

ah, the music has gone to hell, and people seem not to care, and most do not notice ... sorry for my bad inglish...

    PEACE!

  • @TacoNinja18 people like you came around, when music started to get bad. Everyone just complained about and didn't do shit. Now it's almost irreversable.

  • @Friendpersonkid Would you like to provide some evidence for your baseless claim? From your profile, you claim to be 25, in which case you didn't even live through Cream's glory days. In fact, you were hitting youth just as music began to get bad.0

And people didn't 'complain', otherwise the music that's popular today wouldn't be popular. Society went with the flow, which was its' downfall musicwise [In my opinion].

There's really nothing we CAN do about it.

  • dmt music

  • An absolutely unimprovable recording, a real game-changer... the stand-out opening cut from an LP that changed forever what was expected of a rock band in terms of songwriting, composition, performance, instrumental achievement...

One of the rare bands (there have been a very few others) where the whole was greater than the sum of its (very talented) parts.

  • Was this song on the movie " The boat That Rocked"?

  • @KPGCIIOGTR Yes it fucking was!!!!!!!!! along with a load of other fucking amazing 60s songs!!!!!!!!!! A bloody good film that was.

  • @KPGCIIOGTR yes it was

  • no words to describe how amazing this song is. it affects me like no other. Cream was genius.

  • classic hendrix chord at begining! this song makes me feel so good!

  • This song captures my soul ---as always--have listened to this over many

years----one more beautiful song out of the 60's, my time to eternity, forever.

  • @danettecute spoken like a poet !

  • Always been my favorite coming off Disreali Gears ...

  • @1946don this wasn't on Disreali Gears -- it was from Fresh Cream
