In fact, I believe in a live version of the song at one point U2 did say "Lord" in the same part of the song where Sanctus Real used the word but since I cannot seem to locate that recording I cannot be positive.

@mrmetalcore2019 Sanctus Real is a Christian band. So if someone hated U2 because their music is Christian based, but loved this band, they'd be a hypocrite. I think what they're saying is that they like the feeling or perspective behind it. I can kind of see that, like 'Shine' by Collective Soul. That song is pretty much a prayer to God. But when they sing it, it sounds like the person is lost or sad. But when Pillar sings it, it sounds like they're excited for God to lead them and teach.

LOL this is quite amusing, you all hate U2 but love it when bands cover their songs, and alot do. Fear Factory, POD, Sepultura, Dream Theatre, Johnny Cash, and many more. SR totally shows up crappy U2 with this cover. Very rare that a cover is better than the original, but SR is a good band, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

this is pretty good, but to think its better than the original is just ridiculous. His voice doesn't compare to bono's, neither does the guitars. The edge's effects are what make it such an unreal song, they just replaced it with palm muting.
