@lockergnome The fans aren't as loud as they seem; the camera just has very sensitive mics. Sometimes it's nice to have white noise in the background; it can help to keep one alert.

Power strips plugged into power strips... I have the same thing. Only for me it's two power strips plugged into a power strip plugged into a power strip plugged into the wall. Somebody told me it isn't entirely safe. My response? Screw safety. I'm a geek. But I really should get rid of a few of those power strips...

@UbuntuGenious XOxide, CrazyPC, or just google 'PC accessories'. They're hooked into a power supply which is short-circuited to stay on whenever power is applied.
