of course it matters, being a fan of a certain band doesn't keep you from being objective. The first album? Certainly not everyone's cup of tea. The other albums have taken a whole different turn, difference of night and day. Regarding your favorite videos, there are songs you would certainly like.
I hate all nu-metal. In this case The Mars Volta doesn't even compare to any of those bands. No one can put down TMV if they have any idea what they do and how complex their music is. Metal just seems like the same stuff over and over. The novelty wore off a long time ago. Disturbed wish they were Iron Maiden.
as i said, there are songs you would like on the second album. but keep being close-minded, that's your right. and let me laugh about that last statement.
I hear Disturbed every time I turn on the radio and every song sounds the same. Once you hear a few songs you're heard them all. No disrespect. I don't believe Disturbed is the superior band in this discussion. By the way, what does it mean to win a Grammy these days? The Grammys are a joke.
Can you say fanboy? If he was of a higher state of consciousness, his music wouldn't be so simplistic and suck so bad. This is the loose dribble of a dense generation. Disturbed will make you lose 10 brain cells per second and repel females at a staggering rate.
Draiman probably isn't one of those intelligent types who has 'revelations' of thought; awareness is a constant state for him, like the thoughts swim around without having to be written down. Its a state of near-perfect comprehension.

He does have a cool attitude about fans and the loss to Volta. That doesn't make me like his music, but at least he's not a dick.

When you're a Disturbed fan, your opinion automatically doesn't matter. Down with the sickness? Seriously. Give me a break.

And by the way, I guess you don't like Korn?
