werewolf's are stronger immortal while in they're wolf form, extreme agility and instantaneous regeneration. While vampires got unending life. Trance, flight, extreme speed and some more things i don't have time nor space to write.

both can be killed by silver and vampires can die of sunlight getting stabbed in the heart. Getting their head blown off and some more things. while just humans can die of like whatever and got no whatsoever power at all.

Hmm, some of these comments seem awfully harsh towards each other. Okay, lets set things into perspective. if the full moon drives you crazy and turns you forcefully into a giant wolf, you are a lycan, or lycanthrope. This IS a kind of werewolf, but not the normal kind. Regular werewolves are humans who can turn into wolves, and often gain wolven attributes while in human form also. As any sort of werewolf, expect the full moon to at least energize you. Many vampires may also take wolven forms.

yes but heres the deal! there are such a thing as a PREMATURE WEREWOLF, it means that dont get any of your abilities until after you mature, wich only happens around 18-20, if you have all the attributes of a werewolf such as, sharp canin teeth, shaggy hair that cant be kept clean, sharpened senses, curved fingernails, and such then its a pretty safe bet, although i dont fully believe that werewolves are alive anymoe, i know for a fact that they did exist, becouse my ancestors did rituals>:D

I've always thought that lycanthropes (werewolves) are more "guardians of nature" while vampires are city-dwellers. I go with the lycanthropes- all the way.

do you even know what is the diffrence between werewolfs and lycans (lycantrophs)? you don´t right.... fools... Lycans are that things they show you in TV (those human and wolf "mutants") but werewolfs are humans (or vampires) that are changing to wolfs, WOLFS!!! not lycantrophs so that´s the diffrence. If you have played VTM Bloodlines, Becket can be called a werewolf becuse of his changing to wolf.

Anyone else love that anime movie Blood: Last Vampire? I haven't gotten the chance to view the series yet, but I heard it was good. I like Vampire Hunter D and Hellsing, too.
