@OwnageProductions03 still had spoiler on it when i sold it, new owner took it off for a low-rise and ran 11s...... he previously had a 9second sti built for drag

@Drifter904 no, you are running too rich. you need to make sure your fuel system is in working order. check fuel pressure, injector size(if not stock), air filter, make sure your MAF is cleaned and working. after making sure the car is in good mechanical condition, then go for a retune.
head over to evolutionm forum and do research there. plenty of helpful people

looks like the yellow lancer has a large turbo...therefore takes longer to kick into boost, and looses time, but once in boost, its crazy. but the white lancer has the stcok turbo, and has smooth boost all ratios. maybe less power but quiker reaction from turbo what makes it faster. i think on a longer track the yellow will win, but its unrealistic in the real world. my money is on the white 1.

It sounded like the settings were about right for the mods, but you can't tell just by the sound. The smoke says he's running a little rich as well. i drive a 06 mustang that i bought off the showroom in 06 and ive spent 4 years and 25,000 dollars in performance parts for it and its making about 550 to the wheels. i went for a ride in my buddys 2003 evo thats making 450 whp and i almost pissed my pants. the acceleration is just incredible. its been the fastest car ive ever been in since.

I saw something like this at the strip near me. Guy had an VIII with a 35r and Agency header, full exhaust, cams and tons of other mods. Ran low 14s. I have an 05 MR with exhaust, K&N filter, ACT clutch and a Mellon tune and can run low 13s all day. I can't see spending that much money on a car and not learning how to use it.

Evos tend to swap tranny gears, usually 3rd and 4th from a evo of a different year, cant remember which and why. the 6spd Evo 9MRs have the shortest ratios ever.... they'll be in 5th at the end of the track. which most just swap for the 5spd box
@rotor13 no longer a muscle car guy. I have an 05' SRT4 with some goodiesss :) My car uses a similar tranny to the evo's btw. The longer ratio's are deadly for a turbo car.

@helvek Dude neither of those are "stock" evo's...His just has the stock turbo still. Who knows he's probably running higher boost, with aem cams, and a turbo back exhaust thats not a bad evo..He also has a twin disk clutch, so that helps on the starts alot.
That yellow evo apparently needs a tune... My WRX's turbo kicks in at 3k rpms... :/ I want a bigger turbo though along with all the other goodies that i'll need with it.

i drive a 06 mustang that i bought off the showroom in 06 and ive spent 4 years and 25,000 dollars in performance parts for it and its making about 550 to the wheels. i went for a ride in my buddys 2003 evo thats making 450 whp and i almost pissed my pants. the acceleration is just incredible. its been the fastest car ive ever been in since.

I saw something like this at the strip near me. Guy had an VIII with a 35r and Agency header, full exhaust, cams and tons of other mods. Ran low 14s. I have an 05 MR with exhaust, K&N filter, ACT clutch and a Mellon tune and can run low 13s all day. I can't see spending that much money on a car and not learning how to use it.

@The92foxbody sorry muscle car guy..... but gear mods arent really necessary for imports, not rare.... but not common either.
Evos tend to swap tranny gears, usually 3rd and 4th from a evo of a different year, cant remember which and why. the 6spd Evo 9MRs have the shortest ratios ever.... they'll be in 5th at the end of the track. which most just swap for the 5spd box

@rotor13 no longer a muscle car guy. I have an 05' SRT4 with some goodiesss :) My car uses a similar tranny to the evo's btw. The longer ratio's are deadly for a turbo car.

higher mph = faster pull on car... but bogging launch = bad driver. need to slip that clutch buddy! thats kinda why big turbos suck, they take too much finesse on launching to get the most out of em. that white evo would get handed a new asshole on the highway however, no matter who the driver is. @helvek Dude neither of those are "stock" evo's...His just has the stock turbo still. Who knows he's probably running higher boost, with aem cams, and a turbo back exhaust thats not a bad evo..He also has a twin disk clutch, so that helps on the starts alot.

your seriously laughed at, american built muscle cars cant put it up to jap performance, my evo is is running 650bhp/605fp torque on 1.4 bar boost and 730 bhp/685fp torque on 1.7 bar and its a single turbo 2.0 litre it would smoke any muscle car in a straight line let alone going around a track because everyone knows muscle cars are pure sh*t going around a corner so if ya dont have a clue shut the fu*k up

i dont need to prove anything mine isnt even that impressive compared to others. its incredibly easy to up performance of an evo because the japs by law have to limit the cars @276bhp but mitsubishi build it to achieve more, in england u can buy a stock evo at 400 bhp because of different laws so the fact you need proof proves u havent a fuckin clue and so fuckin what it NEEDS a turbo to acheive the power a US car needs 3 times the engine cubic capatity to achieve less. So stfu if u know nothin
