hi mn, i have a seriosly poblem with binds about pitbull, and when i press right-click to see options of target-character menu(as loot type, dificult and that stuff) its displaying me pitbull configuration menu instead normal char-targt menu of the frames, do u knowhow to block the pitbull menu me anymore with right-clicking? ty

oh ty so muchh, i didn`t know how show portrait never on pitbull, ill try this one more time cuz my xpear is bugged on my woltk server and, i used put portrait on my target frame. Thats i dont know if it can be only in a frame and no in other, know u how do it?

XPerl isn't very configurable. Many users do not like the way XPerl looks and its restrictive option set. That's about it.

You should be able to get an exp bar through any action bar addon, such as Bartender4 or Dominoes.

Try lowering opacity... 100% opacity might actually be the equivalent of 100% alpha (i.e. fully visible). 0% may be fully transparent...

You might have a gradient on the texture you're using. It is weird though that it's see through if it's fully opaque. Might be the texture itself.

another question, little more complex - (im guessing)

how do i make it so that buffs like presences, auras, mounts are all at the beginning of the buff rows, when i proc abilities/trinkets/talents they get mixed in within the permanent buffs and its just a little hard to see what i have/dont have

I don't actually know of a good way of doing that with Pitbull. You might want to get a separate method of viewing critical procs, like Power Auras or the like.

Check your filtering under Auras for the template assigned to your player frame.

When i use it to change target, the frame and portrait from the previous target still remains, even when i have a new target, how do i make this not happen?

because i have to deselct the target and reclick the guy to make the frame work normal

The config for Pitbull4 is similar, though with the added layer of templates:

Instead of modifying an individual frame, you change a template (creating new templates as needed), and apply it to a frame or group of frames.

Pitbull comes with the main addon and like 40 modules... make sure you have the main addon enabled, not just a bunch of modules.

This is an issue with the default Blizzard action bar, not Pitbull, for future reference.

As for your question, you can first off try to shrink the UI scale in the default interface menu (escape). The more long-term solution will be to use a widescreen monitor :P

Failing that, you may find some success using an addon like MoveAnything! or FluidFrames to shrink the size of the default action bar.

aye man. I'm having a little trouble with my pitbull config. One my characters display for health and runic power (i'm a dk) When i take damage, it counts up how much damage i take. currently i have 19.4k health, and it will just show -5132- or something of that sort while i take damage. is there any way that it would be like 12/19.4K or something like that?

Yea you have it set to 'Health Deficite' or 'lack of health' option. This is like healer-mode.

Entire disabled frames are in "extra," but I don't know what you mean by "heatlh txt."

Try disabling the Banzai module under /pitbull -> modules for the heatlh bar red problem

for some reason using it does make me more comfortable i guess it requires time but also time to set up a new UI cause how i have mine now is clear cause of wrath lag and lagaran (dalaran) but imo you should make your own series of UI's that be awsome and thank you for makin this series of videos for wow pvp addons.

Never been a huge fan of pitbull mainly because i would get so aggravated trying to customize it i would just switch back to Xperl. I am trying right now to try and hook up pitbull but i just don't know how to, if you can, loose all the height on the Unitframes, even with health and power height set low and cast at 1. is it stationary to stay that tall no matter what?

Yea, you can change the size on any Pitbull Unit Frame, under the appropriate configuration option (size -> height).

For maps, I used simpleminimap, but any would work. Squeenix, sexymap, moveanything!, they're all gonna essentially do the same thing.

Whatever you're comfortable with. Pitbull is technically more customizable as far as I know, but they both essentially do the same thing. You probably can't make a wrong decision :P

Why do you like Pitbull over Xperl?

I replaced Xperl with Pitbull but there are a few things that bug me.

Xperl's raid utility for healing. (Even spec'd feral I LOVE this option... ppl should heal more; makes a huge dif.) Also, the coloring in Pitbull. It is not very pleasing to the eye and I seam to have all sorts of problems in combat getting the right colors to display. (I have unchecked "hostility coloring" and still get weird colors.

What are your thoughts?

There's a config option that will highlight or color elite/rares. If you're after artwork, I think you'll have to try DogTags, sort of an extension.
