omg i just got back from branson yesterday and while we were there we got to see the duttons and it wuz soo good!! and amy gave me a violin lesson the next day and she is soo nice and fun to be around! Great family and great show!

the baby was cute and yes it flipped him off but the baby didnt do it on purpose when a baby drools it drools but not on purpose the baby was just moving its fingers like any baby should. sho i did that loads of times.

That Duttons have ALWAYS brought their family to perform with them. If you seen any other performances, just not on American's got Talent, they have their family with them. They show that being an artist does not mean that it is something personal and selfish, it is something the whole family does.
I think it was pretty silly for Piers to even suggest that they break apart. Did he honestly think that a family is going to break apart and perform for money?

I'm a personal friend of The Duttons. If it makes any difference to you nay sayers, Simon cowell absolutely loved the kids. He called The Duttons and told them that Piers is an idiot, that Piers doesn't know what he's taking about. He said it was a lot of fun seeing the three generations up on stage.
I've seen other acts just like this (only a smaller family) at our state fair... that's kind of where it belongs with the little kids... not when you're competing for a million dollars.

What is Piers chatting about? They knew they were getting a yes from the other 2 Judges. All he had to do was to try and make as little of an _ of himself as possible but no XD.
But bringing the children out was nothing more than a shallow attempt to win over crap judges like Sharon and Hoff. If they were playing instruments, then fine... but they werent. They were only there to try and play the 'cuteness' card, and win over all of those people that think being cute is more important than talent (and theres far too many of those who watch this show).

2 British judges because it is produced by a British company, Free Mantle Media. They hire who they know and where they have the contacts. Of course they could have gotten all American judges had they wanted to.
It reminded me a bit of the families that busk on the buses and trains of third world countries, using their kids to lure people for sympathy so to give some money for food.
Seriously, they are trying to find an act worth £1 MILLION DOLLARS. Think about that- A Millionaire overnight. Piers makes the most valid comments on this show, he is harsh when it is true. Half the acts on here wouldn't even make past the auditions on Britains got Talent, because our judging is much better. It isnt about "who is the most entertaining" or "who do the audience appreciate the most", as the other judges seem to think. Sharon is much more leniant on here i notice than on X Factor.

Btw, Piers has one of the strongest personalities that I've ever seen. He does'nt care about making himself look bad and he does'nt care what others think of him.
In general, Piers is definitely a role model, but he sometimes gives off strong words. (Though, i doubt if they are intentional)

Piers has his right to express his views, but he had no right to make the kids feel bad. Kids are more sensitive than people think, and I think they should have been featured along with their parents/grandparents. The kids were awesome; no, the WHOLE DANG FAMILY was AWESOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMME!!!! GREAT vid, funny baby! LOL

Yeh, wouldn't suprise me if the producers have asked him to take Simons Roll on. He's completely correct in this though, America may be about families, but music isn't. I'd have done exactly the same as him, the non talented members of the family are just getting a free ride and ultimately their gonna bring the others down.
