@JoelandtheBots I noticed that too...looks like Tom Baker and Elisabeth Sladen clicked instantly....I don't think there has ever been a more unique Doctor than Tom Baker, and Elisabeth Sladen is likely the finest actress WHO has ever seen....not hard to see why so many consider the Baker/Sladen pairing to be the all-time best in WHO..although I thought Pertwee & Sladen were also superb together, ditto Sladen / Tennant, Sladen / Smith..maybe Sladen's so talented she makes everyone look good!
@63DW89A Um I dont recall Matt being with Sarah Jane on any meaningful basis, Matt appeared in one single episode of the Sarah Jane Adventures but their appearance together on screen was limited to just one scene
@bluejeckett Dr#11 (Matt Smith) played a significant role in the "The Death of the Doctor" in SJA, appearing in both episodes alongside both Sarah Jane and Jo (Lis Sladen and Katy Manning). There are several scenes together, and It is a GREAT story, check it out!
Elisabeth Sladen's passing on April 19, 2011 is sad, because SJA at its best, is so darn good. SJA at times, is often more "WHO" than the New Series, and the allegedly adult "Torchwood" suffers greatly in comparison to SJA.
Great episode! I just love doctor who, and like to see tom baker, since that is the doctor my mom knows from when she was little. So I am very glad you posted it! Allthough I must say that I think it's kinda childish to put all these words in the discription that have nothing to do with this episode, just to get more hits.
I had heard that this episode wasn't that good but I think its pretty good. Tom Baker's a little shaky but I've noticed that doctors usually are in their first episode
@aelfiles Who ever said this episode wasn't that good might have been commenting of the special effects or lack there of. Personally I'm loving this episode there's some real character moments here.
0:40 to 1:10 So sad that this conversation is still relevant.

I love how everyone just stands there with their necks wide open for the robot to touch for a second before letting them drop dead.

"I'd ware what you thought was bet for me and think what you thought was bets for me?"
"It would be for your own good!"
Can you say DICK? that guy is so asking for a punch in the face! Deck him Sara!
"We'll find a place for you between the flying saucers and the flat-earthers!" okay she didn't deck him but that was a pretty good come back.

@JoelandtheBots
Question is, was that Sarah Jane Smith, or was it Elisabeth Sladen, that was trying not to laugh?
