  • good story Josh! I'm an arm amputee and dont wear a prosthesis. Couple years ago I was on a first date, had a great dinner, was standing out by her car chatting. A group of teenagers drive by, circle around and come by again. As they go by the 2nd time they slow up and one of the kids hollars "hey, are you the drummer from Def Leppard?" as they drive off. Had a good laugh over that one! LOL

  • "and nobody knows what to do when the one legged guy falls down"

  • I saw Josh at the National FFA Convention last night. That was definately the highlight of the whole time at convention, and the absolute best motavational speaker I've heard...ever. I also hapen to have a handicap, Achondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism. The half hour in which Josh spoke, was a life changing moment for me. I have a new outlook on how I'll live my life with my difference.

  • This guy is awesome. He came to my school. He's a swell guy.

  • Swell, huh? Thanks!

  • As someone has so nicely put it:

If you fall 7 times, you get up 8

  • Assuming you start out in a standing position. ha.

  • Thanks Maple-- glad you got the message. And glad you enjoyed it, Doublespeak.

  • Great story :)

  • Thanks .. a great message with this clip.

We all "fall down" in some way or another most days in our lives (even those of us with two legs) BUT like you we need to "pick ourselves up" and get on with our lives hopefully with smiles on our faces
