I have no idea why anyone would mention Beastie and Eminem in the same sentence. They are completely different acts. Beastie is actually a band. They actually know how to play instruments. Eminem is a rapper. That's it. Is Eminem a better lyrical rapper than Beastie generally speaking? Yes. Is his act better overall? Nope. You ever see a Beastie concert live? Will blow you away. The two simply cannot be compared.

Back in the day they were good,but they can't hold a candle to the skills Em possesses .The Beastie Boys rapped about beer and girls.It was good for the times though.Eminem rapped about drugs and partying but he also wrote deep songs too
