  • Holy-Terrorist:>*=* Lol, spider-pig in the start of the video, in 2:09 i love this music, i looked 6:55 i knowed of lying of this image in Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare for PS3 console of mission completed of i dont know what is the titer of this mission, in 2:09 and 7:25 i love the music look like invasion alien of Zim Invader[look Zim Invader, Zim, Gir] in Youtube rechearch and of lets know bomb making of formula powder of TNT, RDX, octanitrocubane and etc... powder, im a big lier!

  • I hate that song!

  • what is the advantage to using dextrin as opposed to straight cornstarch? i know that a lot of consumer firework factories just use cornstarch

  • @6squirrels The advantage is that you could use it on homemade chips after you've fried them to give them that extra crispness. You can't do that with cornstarch until you've toasted it to a golden color. I'm just wondering if doing it on the oven in smaller quantities would have the same result. I don't want to waste so much energy from the oven just making a small amount.

  • what song is playing at 2:09 i dont know if its a different song but i like it

  • corn starch or corn floar are the same can we use corn floar

  • this is also how to make your own cornstarch syrup, just make it like a cornstarch slurry. dextrin plus water plus fire equivalent to liquid glucose ...creagan.net/fireworks/dextrin.html

  • I want some cocaine

  • does it smell?? just wondering cuz i live in a condo and i dont want ppl thinkin um cooking crack. lol but seriously.

  • Can you make yellow dextrin with the stove instead of the oven?

  • @snakeeeey maybe ask on other vids

  • the vid. is tripping on my pc i need an answere quick how long did you backed it total???!!!!

  • did u do this for 3 hours

  • Sorry, last comment. @vuurwerkmaker100 and @prosurvival93, no. Do not cook it in a pan on the stove. I promise it will not work. If it doesn't burn it will caramelize. Both bad. @13aird. Lol. Don't you look foolish! :)

  • @piroguy1000, there is a HUGE difference between corn flour and corn starch. Corn flour is whole corn kernels ground into a powder, corn starch is the very center of the kernel (the endosperm) ground up very finely. If you grind cornstarch and sugar together, you get powdered (confectioner's) sugar. @TheHomemadeArsenal lay off the kid! He didn't do anything that should upset you so much. By the time he's your age, he'll know way more about fireworks than you!

  • @Anthony82949 you can get cornstarch at any store that sells baking supplies. @lovegunz1 convectional and conventional heating is different, and is why the temp must be adjusted. Convection ovens circulate and even out the heat, while conventional ovens heat only from one side, usually the bottom. @Shadoswithin, perfect demo. Exactly how the books say to do it, but next time, use a REAL cookie sheet. They have sides :)

  • I don't get the first step, please explain?

  • Holy-Terrorist:>*=* Revolution music!!!!!!

  • Wouldn't it be easier to just cut the box open?

  • why dont you just use a tray with sides on it

  • @Austinsqu111 NICELY SAID.

  • Is their a difference between corn flour and corn starch?

  • from what i no temperature is temperature it shouldent be different

  • @lovegunz1 Well showing as to how you typed 'no' instead of 'know', that kinda shows how little you understand of these things, along with the English language.

And temperature does make a difference.

  • @TheHomemadeArsenal and you need to stop being such an ass hole i have truble with spelling and gramer so what

  • @lovegunz1 So get off the internet, stop fucking with stuff that's above your understanding, and retake fourth grade spelling.

  • @lovegunz1 Yes and no... Temperature IS temperature, but in a convection oven, the whole oven is pretty much uniform as far as temperature. A conventional oven has hot spots and (relatively) cold spots... That's the big thing about convection ovens (and why they're awesome for baking) is that the temperature is uniform. In my oven, if I set it to 400, I can measure as much as a 45 degree difference between the hottest part of the oven and the coolest. With a convection, oven it might be 5 or 10

  • BOYCOTT TUCSON AZ THEY KILLED MY DOG SUKI ON 1/5/2011

    FUCK TUCSON

  • where can you get corn starch from?

  • @Anthony82949 any local grocery store!

  • i have a qustion, can you make it in a pan

  • @vuurwerkmaker100 No shit, lol

  • whats dextrin used for?

  • @thawdani .... dextrin is used for a glue... you put it in black powder...

  • can i cook it in pan instead of bake it in oven?is't produce same quality??

    Anyone???

  • can i cook it in pan instead of bake it in oven?

  • Holy-Terrorist:>*=* 5:25

  • Holy-Terrorist:>*=* 7:46 cool, lets know in Call of Duty 4 Modern Combat of terrorist use of salt uranium xD

what music, for rechearch and use and i haves effect of me this music, bee -^=^- *=* xD =D

  • WTF is Dextrin using for ?

  • who gives a fuck whether its a pizza sheet or a cookie sheet!?!?!?!

  • Well I kind of have to question, are you sure this is "dextrin" ? After all, Dextrin by definition is a water-soluble mixture of intermediate polysaccharides formed during the hydrolysis of starch to sugar. Now I know in beer making for instance, the leeched starches from the grain require 153 degree's maintained at an optimal 5.3 ph for the Amalze enzymes to convert it to sugars. Your simply baking corn starch on a cookie sheet

  • can i use maltodextrin instead of making dextrin? or does it have to be something else....ps the maltodextrin is a white powder and is very very very very fine powder can it work plz tell me

  • whats the song name from 1:40 ??

    Usefull video though :)

  • @destroyed14MCfly six little eggs by otis

  • nice oven!

  • Lol wats up with the smiley faces on ur cooker???

  • LOL THONGS AND SOCKS LOL >.>

  • what the fuck is this , i cant use a oven.

    oi nice vid tho

  • can i use dextrin in my homebrew

  • what can i use dextrin for i sort of know but im not quite sure

  • good tutorial but music sucks! :D

  • Obviously, he doesn't know the diffrerence between a cookie sheet and a pizza sheet.

  • @mogeroithe a pizza sheet has edges dumbass and he said it was a cookie sheet i think it would have worked better if he used a pizza sheet though

  • @weoponmakerpro Dumbass??!! Would that be the pot calling the kettle black? I was a cook for two tours in the military. A cookie sheet has edges, a pizza sheet does not for the purpose of easily removing the pizza when it is taken from the oven. I think I have good reason to know what I am talking about. Check your facts next time before you cast dispersions on someone. It tends to make you look intellectually inexperienced.

  • @mogeroithe i dont care that you did 2 tours in the military but you said he didn't know the difference between a pizza sheet and a cookie sheet 0:16 of the video

  • @mogeroithe your the dumb ass, he's trying to teach something and your'e just looking for something to bitch about. What have you offered lately except complaints?

  • wicked tutorial, thanks

  • is dextrin monohydrate the right kind of dextrin???

  • hi , i discover a small bag with a fine powder (golden color) in my basement how can i know if it is dextrin ?please reply me back

    thanks

  • I would have used a cookie sheet that had edges myself.

  • Will potato starch work?

  • now it is ready and i am gana try to make black powder with it

  • now i finished another 20 min

  • now i finished 20 min

  • cool i an making some right now and i just finished the first 20 mins

  • I was running out of time as I was supposed to be somewhere soon, so I upped the temperature from 200 to 210*C for the last half hour, and that was enough to ruin the damn batch... It melted...

BTW, as I mentioned before in another comment, buy iodine and test it with that. I don't cook mine to that dark brown colour, as the iodine starch test shows that there isn't any starch left... It was sticky as hell, so it sure was Dextrin..!

  • lmao 1 inch centimeter tall hahah

  • song list plz!!!

btw thx for the tut :D

  • @567Sushi Not really, slight smell of corn muffins but mostly just got really hot so i did it at night when everyone was sleeping =D

  • why did you make this what are you doing with this new stuff dextrin I seen it used in fireworks

  • @trackspike64 Dextrin is used to allow pyrotechnic mixtures to set up into the "stars" you see in mortars.

  • The noise in the background made me stop watching your video after 2 minutes.

If you would like a wide audience, then you'll better rework the sound part.

  • hahaha i like hte song

  • Thanks for the vid. You can use Dextrin in food, it is a mild sweetener. I plan on trying this with dehydrated veggies - so good you will forget about potato chips. Also, corn starch is NOT masa. It is only the starch taken from the corn. If any of yins ever made potato pancakes, you get something very similar. Finely grate a raw potato. Remove the potato shreds and you are left with a cloudy water from which pure starch settles out. It would make terrible enchiladas, for that you need masa.

  • is corn starch and corn flour the same because i can't find corn starch anywere

  • is this all dextrin, or is there a seperating process?

  • is this dextrin same as the origanal dextrin? because im staying at malaysia and its hard to get dextrin here, and i want to make lift powder, is it will works? tht dextrin?

  • is it really dextrin? because im in malaysia and its hard to get dextrin here, i want to make lift powder. so this will works izit?

  • I LOVE THIS SONG

    SPIDER PIG

  • Thank you thinc you helped me & personguydudeWB you can get cornstarch probably at any supermarket.

  • dont get in your eyes

  • WTF that 6eggs song is wierd

  • Dextrin is in starburst's candy...

  • how long does the final one take to cook

  • this video makes me hungry. Mmmmm... Dextrin...

  • That has gotta be the biggest cookie i have ever seen! lol

  • Nice, very nice Tutorial

  • If you have iodine, put a crystal in a small ammount of water and put a small ammount of your dextrin into it. If it turns black it's not done yet becaude it forms the starch-iodine complex, wich it doesn't do with pure dextrin...

  • what does dextrin do?

  • @Nukedeuce it's used as a binding agent in fireworks. Basiclly it takes powder or dry material and binds it into a solid object. It is also used somtimes in glue and also used in other applications.

  • cool

  • 5* for the music!

  • That title has answer about music :) 5/5

  • good vid, need to show what it does at the end.

  • Dextrin is a binder in star mixes and it helps the stars to don't fall appart :)

so "show" what it does isn't really possible...

    ~frietjericcardo

  • Tear the box open! Gee whiz! Cum-on!

  • this is clearly a good method that works 5* but could i take the corn starch in a pot put it on the stove or flame what ever and just stir till its the right color?

  • is corn flour the same?

  • cornflour is exactly the same they are both Maize starch

  • No its not, Sunshine - Corn Starch is pure, wheras corn flour has other organic materials which depend on many factors. Go for the starch rather than the flour, which can give very unreliable results.

  • no dont fink ya sik, theyre both maize starch look on the pack, just that americans call it corn starch we call it corn flour. wikipedia it . then cum bak and tell me so

  • OK, you are partly right. It is certainly a matter of where you are living, how you understand it.

I did Wikipedia both "cornstarch" "cornflour" and "corn flour" - and this last IS literally ground corn, just as wheat flour is ground wheat. So what I was saying was that there is a difference between "corn starch" (which is refined) and "corn flour" - which is used to make enchiladas, I think :-).

Good point tho - the terms are certainly ambiguous, depending on which country you are in.

  • @ENGterrorman are you in the UK or Australia because I'm in Australia and we call it corn flour but thanks for the tip

  • :)) i made this but just with drugs :))

  • really could have added simple lines of text here for people who don't really want to watch 8 mins of you flipping stuff?

lay corn starch flat on cookie sheet @ 1cm or less

    heat 400F

bake 2Hr, mix every 20min until golden yellow

  • @thinc helpful

  • @thinc hes putting this video on for guys like us who want to learn

  • @thinc Sounds like a recipe for a nummy dessert, not explosives.

  • very informative I look forward to seeing more of your vids

  • awesome man it worked

  • Just to make it clear. You said 400 degrees F for a normal oven, right?

  • I'm probably going to do this tomorrow, so I want to make everything clear before I start...=P

  • Your video is ok and i suggest that all peoples come to watch if they wish to make Dextrin!

And i wish to tel peoples from Cro BiH Slo and Serb this is Gustinel ilGustin za kuhanje a ima ga u svakoj trgovini

  • i cant get dextrin or corn starch powder is there a substitute

  • Why the fuck can you not get cornstarch?

  • @PersonguydudeWB Beacuse you cant get it in some countries

  • Yes, you can use red gum, Nitrocellulose acetone bound, or parlon.

  • i have no idea wat this is does it explode?

  • no, it's a binder for stars etc. it's like powdered glue :)

  • lol so it says that its a pyrotecnatic thing so in terms of fire wat do you use it for?

  • do you mainline this or smoke it?

  • Can you use corn flour with corn starch in it? By the way nice vid, first song is class!!

  • nope

  • hmm iv been crushing sparkler up to dust adding water and bp they really stick and u finger go grey but they hold shapes well but when i say add water imean drops at a time.

desolve shot gun power in acetone pore onto plate let it dry like film plastic light it like magician

  • first song=awesome

  • how long do u have to put it in if you only put like 1/4 of a box?

  • lol just look at the color man videos are like basic guides to tell u how to do things u can never tell exactly how you'll have to do somethin just use your best eye with it while baking.

  • wat isDextrin used for

  • fireworks for making stars specificly

  • it's used as a binder for mortars like guy under says for stars, and it's also used in lift charge.

  • so how long did you finally end up putting it in for

  • two hours

  • just use equal because that has one of the highest dextrin concentration

  • how's cleanup with the cookie sheet?

and I would recommend a cookie sheet with an edge that goes all the way around so it doesn't spill.

  • 5 Smilys :D lol

  • how long does it need to cool?

  • I love the spiderpig in the background.

  • it can be use for binding pyro chemicals

  • what can i use dextrin for o:

  • Bombs haha!

  • whats the difference of powder wihout and then with dextrin in?

  • its a bonding agent. When you make pyrotechnic stars with meal powder and dextrin, the dextrin will bond the compound as it dries, allowing them to retain shape and keep the star solid,

  • red gum or dextrin? whats the best?

  • Depends what kind of star your making, red gum doesnt need to be wet most of the time. So i would say red gum is better. Check the forums for more info.

  • Thanks for the vid man.. Really appreciate it. Needed to know how so I could mix with black powder and make me some fuses :)... You should, however, ease off the seizure music. That poppy shit sucks haha

  • Thanks for this man, the music actually livened it up.

  • hydrolysis of starch is always fun

  • thx but now lets see if mah dads let me make dextrin lol

  • could i make this by cooking it in a saute pan?

  • Thank you. You've been a great help.

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks for your time!

    (a little tip:)

You could leave the camera in a stationary place. That way you could use both your hands and reduce the "shaking"

  • You got a really bad taste in music ;P

  • thanks for spending the time on this video---must have taken a butt load of time__ :>

  • so 375 fahrenheit is how much in celsius? asking because i put it on 250celsius... burned to bubbles in 4minutes...

  • 370 Fahrenheit = 188 Celsius. 375 Fahrenheit = 191 Celsius ...

  • Great toutorial! I will do this on the weekend... Thanks again!

  • Oh and lol at socks with thongs.

    Good tutorial though.

  • 1 inch centimeter tall?

    What?

  • he said 1 centimeter thick/tall
