  • Misha331 and ankuszyn say it all.

  • omg this is great

  • Was?!?! "Hab Ich der Loggen Linkin' "?!?!?

  • They should have sung 'ohh Liebling' instead of 'oh darling'. What were they thinking, honestly...

  • @BytteBob that's a very good observation. According to joemeekpage.info the translation was done by Lawrence Montague (= Lawrence "Larry" Yaskiel) at that time managing director of Vogue Schallplatten in Königswinter

I am going to try to write the lyrics down although I don't speak German so it will take a while.

  • Greatness.

  • Did he say something about "Volkswagen"? LOL. Cool version, right up there with the Beatles' German recordings.

  • In German! I LOVE it!!!

  • Sounds more like a protest song compared to the original but great cover !

  • that was brilliant,,,

  • sensationell....ich wusste nicht das der song auch auf deutsch veröffentlicht wurde

    danke

  • Thanks for the memories!!!!

  • you guys rock!

    come to new zealand!

  • DANKE! I just happened to find this and am THRILLED to hear it in German. Compiling a CD for my best friend and the Honeycombs "Can't Stop" and this song were her favorites. You've make someone VERY HAPPY!

  • This version is in the original key of C MAJOR , before Joe Meek speeded it up two semitones to D MAJOR , adding more power and urgency to the song allowing it to become the no. one hit ! Dennis D'ell still sounds amazing , a much underated vocalist !!

  • Nice vocal!

  • Not bad...just goes to show you that The Honeycombs were appreciated all over the world!!!! Keep on rockin'!!
