Do you find that if you ride easy on the throttle that you can increase your battery time or rideing time? I thought as long as you rode easy you might because you don't have to draw a ton of battery energy to get up a hill ect. It may suck twice the power at all times though so i'm not sure. CHeers, IC.

@etves not that I'm against electric bikes, but I am in favor of hybrid electric traction only in the fore front and make the people continue to pedal, the engine is just an aid.
Where did you buy the hub motor? I want to convert my old Trek 920 mountain bike to a DD hub motor assist bike only on the front wheel. Can you direct me to good sources of components?
Yes ... 2 72V controllers but sharing a common throttle. Top speed not really increased beyond 30 MPH but great torque on startup and more powerful "feel" during riding.

I want to know because I want to make my bike 2 x 2.
I already have a hub motor installed in the front wheel (680watts running at 36
v) and want to install a 1000watt 48V motor on the rear wheel.
