I'm pretty sure that's not how Jesus would have seen it. Any group can claim that a person is one of them; it doesn't make it true!
Jesus was a devout Jew. They didn't nor do they now consider the descendants of Ishmael to be Jews. To be a prophet of the Jews; one must be a Jew! Muhammad was not a Jew!
Therefore the Jews (to this day) consider Muhammad to be a false prophet and the Qur'an to be the work of the devil!
