Yes, magnets. Under the floor there is a chain moving around some gears and that is pulling along some magnets and there is a magnet in the dodgem car. The magnetic forces are strong enough to pull the car but not so strong that the car is pulled consistently so their behaviour is somewhat random like a real dodgem.
How do they work? i saw them at the Model Train Show today but fogot to ask how they work? is it magnets? because thats the only thingi could think of...
