Un ascolto raro e veramente impressionante! La Callas come interprete di Gluck è veramente un modello ineguagliabile... ma di tutto il melodramma della fine del '700... Medea è un esempio eclatante!

I have the whole recording in Italian (3 CDs 1956). Flagstad is impressive, but her pronunciation of italian language is not good.

@ArcanaMundi81 : There's a Met broadcast in 1952 where Flagstad sings Alceste in an English version. She's absolutely stupendous.
