  • Did you hear that? Paula & her flip flops...lol. It's okay though, if I lived somewhere that didn't get below 60 I'd rock flip flops all year round. :)

  • I pretty much don't like that type of cobbler. I'd rather have the old fashioned type with a shell of pie crust below the fruit, swimming in thick, clear syrup, a lattice top with sugar sprinkled on it.

  • Mrs. Paula, I love watchiing your channel, watching you cook reminds me of my grandmother and my aunt, especially around the holiday time. Wil you please post how you make your apple dumplings. Thank you,

  • I just made my first peach cobbler for thanksgiving

  • Oh Thank the good lord I found this. Thank you!

  • well that is way to much butter. 8 tablespoons. i only taste butter soon as i tried it. so next time i will make sure to add only 4 tablespoons of butter.

  • ...and she said,"have a bite of Georgia peach".- Sailor Ripley

  • What happened to her teeth? Is she wearing dentures now?

  • @liamstarwatcher I highly doubt it. She probably got veneers.

  • Sooooo MUCH MAGIC!

  • what is the least amount of sugar that i can use?

  • I've never heard of Peach Cobbler until I saw this...looks really good!!

  • i made this and it was great, but waaaay to sweet. i would suggest half as much sugar in the fruit mix.

  • I never had peach cobbler before ever and when i found this recipe about 2 hours ago I decided I'm gonna try it right away!

I just made it with a couple of differences ;I replaced peaches with nectarines (because it's 1am and that's all I had at home) and I added some almond extract to the batter (just because I love the idea of peachy-alomndy-flavors ) and it turned out great I loved it and my mom loved it!!! =D thanks !

  • She said that she used a total of 2 cups of sugar but the recipe lists 1 cup?

  • Oven temp should be 350° for anyone wondering.

  • @jrmym2 thank you, just what I needed, making it now

  • @jrmym2 Thank you! I was wonder"n.

  • My name is Paula!! :p

  • regular family size ? what size is that family ?

  • Great, easy recipe. Made this for the 4th of July BBQ and it lasted just a few minutes. They were scalping the tin sheet for the left overs. I added a 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla and lost of wildflower honey during the peaches cook down. YUMMY!

  • I love that good ol' southern accent. Nothing better than Georgian peaches, I need to visit her restaurant sometime...now to find an excuse to visit Savannah.

  • i saw this recipe 15 mins ago and right now my peach cobbler is in the oven :D

  • for the topping my mother uses oatmeal and brown sugar

  • Brown sugar is so much better for Peach Cobbler!

  • @Laurpaiken1

agreed. yet can't find hardly any recipes calling for it.

  • This looks like an OMG! dessert for my family. One of those that will leave them in stunned silence. I just returned from peach picking at an orchard, so you know what I'll be doing tomorrow with them. :)

  • thumbs up for paula deen ! =)

  • yall.

  • 800 sticks of butter!!!!

  • what happens if i replace peaches with apples????

  • fuck me with a stick of butter that looks good!

  • August 19 is my birthday <3 and I LOVE peach cobbler with a passion!! I always go crazy with the seasonings and my batter usually is just dribbled onto the top. Then when it's done the peaches are just peaking up out of the crust and omg... Put it with some ice cream... It's orgasmic x.x

  • She reminds me of my math teacher.

  • This is almost exactly how my great grandma made her fruit cobblers. She used just regular flour with baking soda though. Might have to try this version and compare lol

  • I just made this and it came out perfect! I do not like to cook but not one would know that if they tasted this....because it taste like a pro made it! This is a recipe that should be passed down to generation to generation.

  • I've made this peach cobbler several times. My family loves it!!! The only thing I do differently is add cinnamon, nutmeg, & vanilla extract to my peaches while they're cooking. Canned peaches work just as good if you're having trouble finding peaches or you're limited on time.

  • COACH! GO GET IT

  • Her peach cobbler is awesome!!! im gonna try with other fruits next time!

  • Just love you and your boys! You can see how much they adore you by the way they look at you! Thanks for sharIng your recipes. You are so funny and adorable! Crystal in NC

  • I'm gonna make this for my boyfriend's father for father's day this sunday!!

  • omg i love Paula Deens cooking

it reminds me of grandma and makes me happy

  • Okay I just tried making this & here are some tips. 1) If you boil the peaches it's a MUST that you ice them. Otherwise it'll be extremely messy & hard trying to peel them, as the skin will stay on harder than it would if they were ripe. 2) make sure the oven temp is 400 degrees or more. She never gave the oven temp, but I did mine on 375 & that was too low for browning.

  • Come on what's the oven temp?

  • Hey I am in Canada but enjoy seeing your show when its on here. you boys are cool too

  • OMG...this is like porn for foodies! :-)

Paula, can you just skip the baking instructions part ....fed ex me the cobbler!...Yummmmmmmm...

    Any apple cobbler vids?

    Thanks

  • Paula, I am actually making your peach cobbler recipe right now to represent our country in Carleton College's International Festival! It's my favorite recipe--too delicious to be so simple. A couple of things I like to do...I add cinnamon and a little vanilla to the batter. I also tried using frozen peaches...great substitute for canned peaches, but the canned peaches are still delicious! Thank you so much for sharing your cooking and love with us!

    ~Isaiah Thomas

  • i made this and it was absolutely fabulous i luv it! i used canned peaches cause it's not peach season here! but it was still fantastic! thanks so much for this recipe!

  • Ever watch her shove her wedding ring into whatever she is cooking ? Yuk ! I hope she washes her ring and hands good before exiting the ladies room. Not only that her food is a red flag for heart disease.......

  • OMG that looks SO awesome! The hard part for me would be NOT to eat the peaches as I was cooking them, I LOVE peaches! Can this be done with Splenda for diabetics?

  • @marshantexas yes, I've heard it works great with Splenda.

  • I love Paula Deen...you are the best. I love all your recipes no matter how people criticize God Bless...

  • so whats the time in the oven?

  • me and dough = party time...I tend to get a teeny little bit (a lot) insane and idk how but it winds up in my socks, my pants, on my shirt, on the floor, and ALL over the dishes :P

  • Look at this beautiful peach.

  • what is the oven degree?

  • Her measurements don't make sense. Its too confusing.

  • how do they not make sense?

  • Shes yelling out the measurements, rather than just show you as she go along.(step by step).

  • I have the recipe if you want it. some people just learn different I guess. i made it from the video while she was doing it.

  • You're right, i'm more of a visual learner. I'd definitely appreciate it if you could send me the recipe.Just message me.

  • can you send it to me

  • Also after taking it out of the oven...let it sit for 24 hours covered on the stove or on the table at room temp which gives all the flavors a chance to set in. When you cut into it and eat it the next day..... absolute perfection lol.

  • cool vid paula

  • ty for sending me this... I live in Southern Kentucky and Im away at college so this makes me think of my mama and her cooking. Paula ur great and i would love to meet u whenver i could and I use Publix stuff too lol :)

  • Thanks SOOOO much again for selecting my video!! I was shocked :-)

  • Paula, you rock!

  • sweet vid your food is amazing!!!

  • this is the way i have always made peach cobbler. the easiest way for a small one i s

    1 stick of butter

1 cup of self rising flour

then prepare it the way she does. i don't use any cinnamon. yum, yum!!!!

  • I've made her peach cobbler and to say it is delicious is putting it mildly, it is GREAT!!! I served it at a family reunion and it was GONE in nothing flat!!
