  • i love this movie i saw it once on stars so im gonna wathc all the parts of it cause this movie is beast

  • @tunguskaproductions

Exactly I wouldn't b that scared only for that

    Anyway it is so freaky

  • O filme é antigo. 43 anos atráz!

  • Classic horror movie.

  • What makes this opening scene so scary is the "ordinariness" of it all. Two young people, all alone in a big lonely cemetery, in the cold autumn weather, no special effects. Then all of a sudden some "dead" person appears from nowhere. God, is that spooky!!!!

  • The Black and White Film just makes it scarier..

  • MASTERPIECE !!!

    ABSOLUTELY !!

Love this and 1990 remake over.

  • to the untrained eye the zombie looks like he had too much too drink & looks like a couple who had an argument

  • @nickycoley1 Why do drunks hang around in graveyards?

  • @incrediblehulkmovies why do they lol?

  • @OFFENDERRUEB Bars, gutters, homes, airports, but gravetards are so depressing not mention creepy.

  • I remember my Mom and Dad taking us three kids to see this when I was only 8 years old...That night, us three kids were sleeping in the same bed we were so scared!!!!

  • ......................AS A ZOMBIE O.o

  • i love old movies.. i dnt wna sound like a wimp bt this scared the shit outta me esp d bit where the zombie was chasin the woman hahahaaha O.o those zombies r so dam sharp

  • The fucking zombie can run???? FANTASTIC¡¡¡

  • i like the other night of the living dead better i know i cant blame the actors or other ppl for a low 1968 budget but the first zombie reminded me of frankinstein O.-

  • i like pie :)

  • GEORGE ROMERO IS A GENIUS FOR ME!! HE SHOULD MAKE MORE OF THOSE MOVIES, ARE REALLY GOOD!!!

  • It gives me the creeps walking through a cemetery especially late at night.

  • After seeing this as a kid I just wanted to bar up every window in my house.

  • @incrediblehulkmovies LMAO I had felt the same way! Why? because most everything I watched on TV was in black and white because we didn't have a coler set until the 70's. I thought the news reports were the real thing. lol!!!!!

  • see, this is why you should always go to memorial services armed

  • I wonder if the Actor who did the line "there Coming to get you Barbra." did any voices for Cartoons or halloween stores on CD.. when he does that voice he sounds fimilur. I think I've heared that voice before aside from this movie.

  • He was the producer of the movie.

  • There coming to get you Barbra. best line in a horror movie from a classic movie.

  • oh shit... fuck the zombie

  • I hate the new dawn of the dead so stupid

  • asu cuando aun no naciaaaaa ni mi mama jajaj soy de peru chido tu peliculon

  • In his review in his movie guide, Leonard Maltin argues that this film just may be the greatest horror movie of all time. And with good reason: Because it was a political statement of what was going on in 1968. I saw this film (I have the colorized version on DVD) and it was okay. A little reminder for those that want to see this: Don't expect a happy ending. Duane Jones' character getting killed (guess where? In the head like Kennedy) is probably one of the two cruelest death scenes in the 60s.

  • Could you tell more about the politival statement please?

  • @EricandDish

Which one is the other one? I agree with everything you said...just a big FU to the movie industry from Romero.

  • @EricandDish yup the ending was horrible. ...in modern movies the zombies always die off in gruesome comedic ways that are seen as amusing and theres even celebratory fucking to call it a day between the survivors after shooting the zombies' heads off theres always a "hot girl" and the "hot guy" who seems like a dickhead or is just plain annoying who always survive lol. i love how specific i get lool bt modern zombie movies r more comedic. this is the real deal.shits on modern remakes,

  • The intro music is scary.

  • This is George Romaro's "Citizen Kane."

  • lol i have to agree, when you think NOTLD you think... that first zombie in the cemetery. If you saw this film as a kid you would know what i mean.

  • i love this movie, the 90's remake was cool too!!!

  • the 90's remake was shit, dawn of the dead is much better

  • There is a 40th anniversary DVD out now for this movie. The picture and sound quality is superb and there are tons of extras. Any fan should not be without it. Defiantly worth the 15 bucks.

  • gimme the ugliest, most deformed killers i dont mind them. but that first zombie in the cemetery was scary as fuck!

  • @lordsahasrala88 old horror movies r brilliant cos there in black and white. wudve loved to see a black and white horror movie @ the cinema lol every1 wud av to bring extra pairs of knickers. XD am a big cinema fan bt i love old movies i think they got so much more personality than most of the 3D raped modern ones. some of the modern ones r masterpieces bt every yr i feel sick to my stomach at the new stupid releases like wolfman, da unborn, marmaduke, knight and day, the killers etc...urrghh

  • As youngters in the early 70s my sister and I fought as to who was to turn off the bedroom lights after watching this movie for the 1st time. Guess who lost lol? THIS MOVIE SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF US!!

  • i like it more then modern version

  • i saw the remake like 15 years ago... and i was planning to watch the remake again but i couldn't find it anywhere online...

now i am going to watch the original one... i just found it... hehehe...

night of the living dead(remake) is the first zombie movie i ever saw...

  • I hope you liked it.

  • me too! the remake was the first zombie movie i seen too... the remake is on youtube i just watched it yesterday

  • Nice sis she left his ass!

  • Oh if you think that was nice you're just gonna fall in love with this chick. I would not like to be stuck with her in any emergency that's for sure. lol

  • lol wouldn't you!! :D

  • what a classic!:)

  • I LOVE this music. perfect.

  • that zombie just freaked me out!!

  • who you going to vote for?

  • This Is One Of My Favorite Movies.

  • what a coward lady...thats her brother!!

  • How much Zombie movies does George A. Romero created???

  • Nice one

  • "They're coming to get you Barbara!"

    That's so damn creepy!

  • George Romero should be the only man allowed to make zombie movies

  • I wholeheartedly agree. Or at least just ban the jackasses who think they're so smart changing all the rules in such idiotic ways and never even get the spirit of the originals. There are some good movies though in the Romero tradition, but too much trash. Dawn 2004 wasn't horrible itself but I was just offended when I heard the director's commentary. these clowns had no respect for the original and its rules. They had no business doing a remake.

  • The music alone creeps me out.

  • Seriously.

  • speaking of the music is there a soundtrack to this movie?

  • I have no idea. Sorry.

  • @ThrowBackCinema there's a color version of this

  • @dnHooligan I am watching this for the first time, and yes, the music is shit scary already.
