one of my favorite takeaway is couscous with cooked veggies and spices or as a salad with tomatoes, parsley and cucumbers sprinkled with native olive oil, pepper and lemon juice.
Hi I like what you say some time's it's very hard to understand what I can get and what I can't E-mail see if you put some in frint of you I think you will eat more they did a stady on food that of you put some think on your plaet then you will eat that they you just wish to have more food then you need.
I was wondering.. is soy milk safe to drink if your pregnant or considering becoming pregnant? I've heard research suggest it can cause problems with boy's reproductive organs.. true or just gossip?
I'm lactose intolerant, I can take a little not much, so I have soy milk with my cereal.. this is why I'm curious.
Air popped popcorn! Even light kettle corn is good, the kine with just a little oil salt and sugar. The one that I buy has 150 cal for 3 cups so I can eat a lot without feeling fat : ) I'm also a big fan of honeydew, watermelon and cantaloupe. Frozen grapes are great too!
Healthy snacksfor me - because I am mostly a desk worker - are nuts, raw spinach by the bowlful (just sit it next to my computer in a bowl - no dressing), oftentimes when I think I'm hungry a big glass of water will do the trick. Sometimes I add some chia seeds, maybe combined with a green powder. I think oftentimes we believe we are hungry when we are actually just thirsty.
Oooo, healthy snacks! I love wheat pita bread with greek style hummus. Apples. Dried fruit (love dried apricots). Granola bars (the good kind, not the triple chocolate peanut butter corn syrup things). Chocolate covered soy nuts (only a little bit). Trail mix. Unsalted nuts (especially almonds and walnuts).
If I want something "bad" I only have a tiny piece, like my fiance may have a brownie and I'll take a corner off of it.
I make an egg white omlette using only egg whites and an assortment of vegetables - no milk ..or a flazseed muffin or eggplant with melted low fat cheese
you can purchase lunch meats that don't contain nitrates (even at Walmart)...which I believe was the reason she was saying lunch meats are on the worst food list.
LOL the sandwitch meat in the fridge looked like the ham that I eat. Grapes, bananas, apples. I eat packaged ham in sandwitches or alone and I'm not dieing of cancer. You can use pesticide wash to clean and rinse the cucumber skin. I don't use pesticide wash on my cucumber skin and I'm still healthy. I have eaten spinach cooked, in a wrap and in a salad all the time. I love the cherry tomatoes and eat them quite a bit. The plainer the Soy Milk the last tasty.
OR I like eating green beans or yard long beans (right out of the garden is best)
As a side note -- and Natalie it is one of the few things I have been disappointed about in your videos (maybe I have not seen the right ones)is that SOY is not a food. It maybe helpful for menopausal women in small amounts -- but other that that I DO NOT think people should eat soy at all.
apples, oranges, popcorn. Lol, am I getting a little bit better? Two months ago I would have said Kelloggs blueberry Nutragrain bars, strawberry poptarts, and any vitamin fortified cereal like Coco puffs. Oh wow! I found a neat website called "The Daily Plate" check it out. It totals everything you've eaten for the day and tells you how to burn it if you eat it! lol
Nuts, frozen green seedless grapes, vegetable sandwich like cucumber, tomato, avocado, sprout on home made bread. get a bread maker, whole flour, butter, molasses, powder milk, honey, salt and yeast.
A kettle and a toaster oven are good to have for steaming and baking instead of nuking.
Too many people are raised by lazy parents that showed them how to go to McPoison's when they get hungry instead of grazing on healthy foods. McDonald's mindless moronic mass consumers. They proudly worship it
my usual snacks: an apple cut in half and spread with smart balance peanutbutter, whole wheat english muffin spread with tofutti and honey, low salt triscuits with lots of salsa and/or homemade vegan guacamole (avacado, lime, garlic, salt)
fuji apples with raw walnuts is my favorite snack. It gives you fiber, helps regulate your blood sugar, gives you some protein and reminds me of apple pie without all the fat and added sugar.
i eat baby carrots like popcorn, no joke. like if you think now that you should eat an unlimited number of veggies you might change your mind when i put away an entire bag of those babies in one sitting. its a sickness. better than cheetos though, right?
My favorites are macadamia nuts, sugar snap peas right off the vine, and dipping apples into peanut butter. I also love any fresh fruit except cantalope or honeydew.
popcorn [if non-microwave; if not too much butter; if no preservatives in the food], unlimited fruit, nuts [some salt is optional], vegetables, fruit juices [pure or light addition of honey]
