BY FAR the best version on Youtube... He's EXTREMELY fast but maintains the idea of the piece. I've seen videos here in which people play really really fast but you can't understand anything because it's not organized. That's a MASTER at work.

@bl4st3r Exactly! This is the definitive Lobos Etude 1. None of the other famous names match him either in evenness between notes, speed, or tone quality. He is also the only one who makes MUSIC and not just arpeggios by bringing out the inner voice as a melody, like the calls and echoes of some mysterious creature from deep within the rippling beast of water, darkness and foliage that is the Amazon. Truly mesmerizing.
