What a terrible idea. Many companies actively seek to hire people who are talented but have a lot of failures under their belt. They will see the pitfalls. They will see the problems. And having been in similar situations, can figure out a way to avoid them and thus succeed.
To quote Christopher Titus "When you've been through a lot of shit in your life, you know that just when the shit is about to hit the fan.....you step to the side of the fan."
What this guy is saying is all well and good, but its basically just a reversed perspective on the same principal. It's not as forward-thinking as this guy seems to think it is.
