HURRAY FOR ANGEL FLIGHT!! Thanks to them helping us out...my husband will live many more years to see our 4-year-old and 5-month-old sons grow up. It means a lot to me that our pilot is kind enough to help us out.
I'm really thankful for this charity organization. My husband has testicular cancer and has to see a specialist in Nashville, TN about his future surgery tomorrow. An Angel Flight volunteer pilot is flying us there in the morning (January 8, 2009) so that my husband can meet his specialist for the first time at a consultation appointment. Since my husband is on disability leave from his job, we are living on $185 a week right now and would never been able to completely afford this trip.
Damn..,.damn...Man that gets to ya and to think that these guys would have it so much harder if the private pilots weren't there for em. Not so easy to complain anymore when you see what some of these poor kids go through. I'm all for airplane rides for kids but man..thats a hell of a way to get one ! God's gonna remember people like these pilots who do this and provide from their own wallets ! Lets see some politicians do this.....not !!!

I'm working on getting my pilots licence right now and one day i hope to fly for angel flight. You guys are the best.
