@disneydogs123, Are char na bhai. They may not be that smart but don't forget that they fought for Bangla language and sacrificed a lot that we didn't do. So let them flourish as they are and from their hearts.

Sujitnarayanghosh, u r a stupid comment writer. U r a Traitor of British. Just for your information. Rabindra Nath does not come from divided Bangla. He comes from one Bangla. Do u know why he wrote "Amar Sonar Bangla" (the national anthem of Bangladesh)? Also just to open up some light for u - Hindu is never ism, Hindu is a way of life. Do some authentic studies u will know what I am talking about. I wounder u may have blood of British in u also a confused Bengali.
sadi mohammed is a famous singer in bangladesh even though he lacks soul whne he sings..seems like he is just following the notation not rendering his heart..he sings all of his songs with this boring style...
eto pechanor kisui nai ...banglar leiga rokto dise bangalira ...bangla ekn amader rastro vasha ........prithibi te joto bangla vasha vashi ase sobai jate matha uchu kore nij porichoy dite pare ...tar jonnoi bangladesh & bangla vasha......ei vasha te lekha & gaoa sob gan , kobita , sahitto sob kisutei bangladeshi & bangla vashi der odikar thakbe .....tobe bangla niya kotha bolte chaile obossoi bangladeshi der o somman korte hobe
Enjoy this song by going beyond race, culture, and religion. Stop this discussion about division, Hinduism. This song is nothing to do with Hinduism. God is not attached with any particular religion.
ha ha ..... thats why Britishers used the word BLOODY INDIANS because, for our own country we fight so stupidly, and others enjoy the fight.... we were all Indians before 1947... now we r fighting for the same motherland.... all foolish Bengali East Indians and Foolish West Punjabi Muslims....
at scrakshit, i don't think anyone said that this song was written for Bangladesh. I'm sure the person who uploaded this song, uploaded it so that people can just appreciate the song. Why do we need to bring India-Bangladesh, West Bengal/ East Bengal in every single forum?
Are you a Jamat member. Stop your Nonsense Fanatic Comments in here. Do You know This song is Composed by DL ROY and It is for Banga Bhanga.. Go to Pakistan and wok there as slave. Just Remember we people have thrown you slave of Pakistan in the Bay of Bengal. These songs are designed for Undivided Bengal even before your Father's Dearth. Get Lost.
Firstly, I think you have a problem with reading and understanding English because you seem to have changed my name and also totally misunderstood what the point of my previous comment was. And to clear things up (even though it is none of your business), I am neither a Jamaat member nor a Pakistani and my comment is anything but "nonsense fanatic".
If you had read the comments posted before mine, you would have understood that I was merely trying to clarify something. Scrakshit commented on how this song was not written for Bangladesh but for India. I said that no one is claiming that it was written for Bangladesh and that we do not need have a fight on West Bengal versus East Bengal.
Dwijendralal Roy wrote some of the most beautiful songs about Bengal, many of which were against the division of Bengal, including Muktiro Mondiro. Which is exactly why I said that fighting over whether it is Indian or Bangladeshi is irrelevant. I don't think that makes me anti-Bangladeshi. I am extremely proud to be a Bangladeshi but that does not mean that I will write derogatory comments about people from different backgrounds and/or with different opinions.
Next time before you post another one of unnecessarily belligerent comments, make sure you use the Spell Check because you seem to have a problem with your spellings and your grammar. Try to read the other comments in the thread before you pick one randomly and make nonsensical comments without understanding anything. And last but not the least, DO NOT BRING PEOPLE'S FATHERS OR THEIR DEATHS HERE. Teach yourself some manners before you go around talking rubbish.
This song was written by Mohini Choudhury. Every Bengali has the right to enjoy our ocean of good music and literature. But unfortunately people of Bangladesh misses the most of the wealth as those are either related to India or Hinduism. I see even songs of Tagore are sung in Bangladesh which doesnt have the name of India or Hinduism. We should not be that fanatic in singing a Tagore's song at least.
this song was not written for bangladesh but for india describing the loss of lives in one of the greatest and longest freedom fight andindependence movement of all times in history
Do u have any problem if we Bangladeshi sing this song?..We are Bangladeshi and Bengali is our and our Language. West bengal was a part of Bangladesh, but accidentally we are brocken. So that time when we were same Bengal tha time Rabindronath did write this for Exression of the sacrifice of the people in the British time.
