Lando is a good sport. It never fails to amaze me what fans do with Star Wars, and THAT is the true legacy of Lucas. Even despite the fact that I-III are misguided and spectacle overpowers story. (Oddly, the animated Clone Wars which get a lot of flack actually do had decent stories. Was Steve Martin saying "atheists" don't have songs? He should see this one.

George Lucas definitely has some problems with his film making... Jar Jar was just as annoying as listening to Chewbacca roar all the time. That being said IV-VI is one of the greatest modern epic stories made, on par with some of the ancient Greek tragedy/comedies. I have no problems with the ewoks.

Yes, the ewoks may have had primitive weaponry, but they knew the forest better than the stormtroopers, and had cunning, booby traps, the element of surprise, and strength in numbers! It still didn't make sense, though, but it made a good movie.

I think of the battle scenes, there's a lot more to it then I first realized. The size and fur of the Ewoks makes it easier for them to hide in the forest and attack from odd positions, they also used better tactics, such as drawing out the stormtroopers deeper into the forest to pick them off. They also worked around their technology rather then match it. Cute yes, but a lot more effective then you realize.
