  • also it is a known fact that if the fish have a knob they are male, but if the knob is on their lips, well guys i think we have a very rare homosexual bass

  • my bass bit my finger off

  • That is awesome, I want to do something like this so bad. Maybe a 100 Gal tank. Where did you get your bass? Did you just catch them and keep them? Or did you buy fingerlings and raise them?

  • How many bass you got in there? And where did you acquire them? Did you catch them or buy fingerlings?

  • Did you give that poor bass herpes? lol j/k

  • hey man i love the set up. would you mind telling me what kind of plants you use and where did you find the stump and what did you do to ready it for the aquarium?

  • gotta say im pretty jelous!! that is almost exactly how i want my fish tank set up.

  • Is one of those a smallmouth bass?

  • PETA lmao.

  • Where did you get the nice stumps? I need some good wood structures for my new 180 gal tank. Thanks for any help you can provide

  • Those sores on the bass's lip, mine get them too, but they heal, they are from them trying to swim through the glass arent they?

  • Is there a Plecostomus at 00:25 ????

  • i would replace the bass with sharks and the food with P.E.T.A. members

  • wow, great timing between the song and video

  • wats on his botton jaw

  • @huntfishshoot1 Its a know that sometimes bass develop...I love on Lake Erie and I have always heard that if they have that knob it means that they are healthy.

  • Nice video, but why the 2 1/2 minutes of black screen at the end?

  • nice video the bass are finally starting to strike in southern GA. I caught a nice 8-9 lb bass yesterday.

  • that sweet!!!! bass strike lightning quick!!!

  • thats bad ass! what other fish do you have in there

  • Nice video. It's great to study how these guys hit their pray, helps the visualization aspect when you're working a fluke or a toad. Thanks!

  • epic music

  • This is really so cool!!!

Wish I had a tank like this!!!

  • Awesome setup, looks extremely natural and has an abundance of shade and cover. Perfect tank for some largemouth!

  • its a callous caused from running into stuff while trying to catch live food or just freaking out like some bass do. just speaking from experience.

  • did u catch them or buy them

  • Did u catch the largemouths or did u buy them?

  • WELL I HAVE A GOLDFISH!! BEAT THAT!!!

  • cool i use to have one that out grew the tank it was 10 gallons now i have 3 in my pond and i have a whole bunch of mosquito fish they can eat whenever they want

  • immediatly my favorite fishing video just because of the song choice

  • whats on its lip

  • @fishingman636 it looks like a natural growth that some bass get. I see it every once in a while on the bass i catch. It seems like the bigger ones always have it.

  • okay heres the deal i ave a bass and he's not that friendly he doesnt comw to the glass when i enter the room he just hides behind the flter any help to get him used to me

  • Don't be stupid--Peta doesn't have any qualms about a fish eating another fish. They have a problem with animals being tortured and being treated inhumanely. Not hard to tell the differnce, you just have to "think".

  • @jaspermatty but PETA would have a problem just keeping the fish in an aquarium as opposed to their natural environment.

  • do you have any tips on how to get abass to get used to you. i've had mine for about 5 days and he hates me and is scared at flees when he sees me any tips

  • You should do a video on just how you set your tank up. It is a great set up.

  • nice setup man

  • SICKASS vid....I got a 100 gallon tank and I have the whole environment set up I just need to add water. Should I just use water where I caught the bass from and what do you do for filtration. Thanks!!

  • @Obmx4lifeO

Undergravel filter with 4 powerheads and two 200 gallon canister filters. Enough filtration for a 400 gallon tank, helps heep the water clear.

  • @sawyer1206 nice hit..is that bass in the Mafia??..LOL

  • @Obmx4lifeO

You really shouldn't add your bass to new water - let the water get properly conditioned with some cheap goldfish for a few months and then add the bass when the environment will support him. It takes probably 3 months or more for the bacteria to grow in a new aquarium with an under-gravel filter and until that time most fish will die.

  • The highest rated comment is feed crickets and earthworms to a big bass in a 200 gallon tank? Get real...Bass dont eat eat worms and crickets in the river... they eat fish, tadpoles, crayfish, and ANYTHING they can fit in their mouth. Awesome video!! I wish I had 200 gallon tank :-( I have 3 small Largemouth Bass...they are pretty fun to say the least...where did you get yours?

  • how often and how much do you feed your bass?

  • hoe do you get the water so clean?

  • how much and how often do you normally feed your bass

    great video 5*

  • bad day for a feeder fish

  • lol 0:056-1:15 is a bass rampage :) beautiful video.

  • love how the song flows wit the video nicely haha

  • What is the song

  • i never seen a bass eat a gold fish huh they are good for something

  • this video is dope

  • wats the song called

  • Wait are those freshwater bass that you caught out of a lake?

  • im am apart of PETA and i like this . my peta stands for

    People

    Eating

    Tasty

    Animals

  • @brhasn1

    Yeah.....I can relate to that!!!!!LOL

  • @brhasn1 can i get one of those cards?

  • @brhasn1 lol

  • @brhasn1 Pets Eating Tiny Animals

  • nice have any other tanks or is this it?

  • nice video, just got one myself about 10 inches long, man is he giving my cichlids hell

  • yo those are proly fake plants on the back glass panel right? cuz im gona get a 180 gallon also with a lmb and a chain pickerel and im thinking about doing a similar design

  • @szymonbeefcake328

I got my fake plants at Hobby Lobby and Michaels in thier plastic floral area. More selection and a lot more to choose from then at the over priced pet stores.

  • @sawyer1206

good idea looks mad good!!! theres a video here on youtube of some guy making a styrofoam wall with concrete on top of it and it looks like a rock wall, if you do that and use the plants you got and some live plants that tank would be orgasmic

  • @szymonbeefcake328 True but most live plants require around 3 watts of light per gallon. Under that kind of light the bass would natraully get lighter to blend in with its surrondings. I kept this tank on low light to get the Bass darker, you get a dark black lateral line and dark green colors in low light.

  • @sawyer1206

yea my bass has that problem hes like realy dull colored when the lights no and has a nice black lateral line when the lights off, but since i think live plants look bangin, im gona make him a realy dark spot so hopefuly he can hide in it

  • @sawyer1206 also,,,the live plants would make his tank look like shit,,,the infestation of snails,,all live plants have them every single 1,,,it would put black dots alllll over the place,,,and i highly doubt he cleans his tank,,its just amazing filter system so it would look nice,,but mess it up at the same time

  • thats a beautiful tank nicely set up

  • You want to make it real interesting I had a 45gal tank with a 16" LMB and I use to go to the local pet store and get mice they were going to feed the snakes with and drop them in the tank!

  • So basically, what was understood by the warning at the beginning of the video, is that PETA is against the natural cycle of the food chain. Aren't PETA members just contradictory? I bet you they may try to convince all carnivores to go vegan as well. LOL

  • hah u must have money out the ass to have a tank like that but its complete rape lol wat was that fish u had in the background? i saw 2 bass and something that looked like a slab black crappie

  • is that sandstorm the song?

i dont know tecno but ive heard it

  • Comment removed

  • I love Naturaly fish that you can find anywhere. There just more beastly

I have a Black Bullhead you should check it.

  • what do you commonly feed a LM bass and how many times a day

  • Feed they more like once a week. They will feast for the first day and then it takes a couple of days before they are hungry enough to finish off the feeder fish.

  • @sawyer1206

Remeber not to feed them live feeders all the time. This could possibly give them ich, ich doesnt occure in nature but is common in fish hatercheries. Try to find an alertanative food source. Like pellots, flakes, or insects i have a large mouth an oscar i made the mistake of primarily feeding them fish and they caught the ich. But know i get my feeders from a local haterchy ran by my dads high school freind. They are farmed raised so i know that their healthy and clean.

  • Awesome awesome tank setup! Would it be possible for you to email me a frontal photo of the tank? Would def want to have my setup look similar... thanks!

  • WHAT is that growth on the bottom jaw of the one bass?

  • @SpinelessScales It's from the fish rubbing it along the glass as he/she swims around the tank

  • neat

  • nice fish love the set up looks just like there natural habitat in the wild

  • Also I believe I saw an African Leaf fish in the video. These two are not compatible due to the temperature ranges they need. The Leaf fish is tropical preferring temps in the upper 70's while bass thrive with the temp in the 60's. Someone isn't happy there.

  • im sorry we arent all aquatic specialists....

  • Good footage. Couple of suggestions: Rosey Reds and Goldfish are some of the worst things you can feed fish in captivity. Most of the time they are malnourished themselves offering little nutritional value. What they commonly offer are diseases. Better choices would be ghost shrimp, earthworms, crickets, even minnows from a bait shop should be healthier than most pet store feeders. Prepared foods are always the best such as frozen or dried.

  • awesome music choice

  • I got four baby large mouth bass in a minnow trap just last week. Was going for shinners, and two days later when I pulled it up.... a bunch of shinners and 4 baby large mouth bass... they about 3 inches long... check out on my video

  • I might be getting some Largemouth Bass soon... just wondering , how long does it take to grow 10 inches? and if I'm starting with just two baby ones... what size tank should be enough until then?

  • i love your tank setup its amazing

  • DUH... Catch em lol

  • where did you buy the large mouth bass from? and how much does a 200 gallon tank cost?

  • lol... are bass edible... lol.... you can eat im pretty sure every type of bass.

  • love the warning!

  • That is one big ass Pleco! How big is it?

  • i caught a 2 ft bass sleeping at 12 o'clock at night and he eats everything

  • are those bass ediable casue i plan to get bass fishing then keep them in my pond outddors in uk and grow them to eat? any tips ppl

  • yes i believe they're edible and from what i've heard, they're quite good.

  • i dont particuarly like the taste of bass but you might it is edible

  • just go catch a bunch of bream, a 3 year old can catch them and they taste better than bass.

  • if you want bass all you have to do is go into a Chinese fish store and they keep live bass there, they sell them for food. try it!

  • I wondering if you still have the fish and if you were able to treat the big ones sore on its bottom lip?

  • I get a medicine from a local fish store called melafix. What you can do is add melafix, some aquarium salt, and up the temperature to around 82 degrees. It will cure his sore. My LMB had a sore too, and it cure itself after dosing him with the meds I listed.

  • where did you get your bass at ??

  • Nice thing about native tanks is you don't worry about temp at all.

  • whats the water temp set at for largemouth bass?

  • You can keep bass in water anywhere from 37F to 90F. Its best to keep then in 55F to 60F, basically room temp in a house.

  • Badd asssss!!!!!! GEORGEUS TANK!!!!!!!!!! *applause*!!

Im geting a 300 gallon when i move out and doing the same thing!! nice

  • i must say this vid is very well done...how big is thattank again?

  • its in discription

  • how big were your bass when you got them? I had a 16incher I caught and tryed to keep, but he didn't like it much lol

  • Nice aquarium!

  • what are the dimensions of your tank?

  • haha shamee!

  • Ooo your LMB has a nice fat belly something mine would need soon =D

  • did you eat them after or what

  • what song is this? its deadly but i dont know the name so i cant find it

  • the song is called sandstorm by darude

  • One Question.. do you need a special Permit to be able to keep Bass as pets?

  • no bitch

  • depends, in minnesota and your under 15 you can catch them, otherwise you'll have to buy them, in some instances

  • So if youre above 15, its illegal to catch them?!

  • what i mean is, if your under it you can keep them for aquarium use, otherwise you'll have to buy them for aquarium use, but you can still fish for them above 15, at 16 you need a license to fish and keep them

  • Mmh, thats pretty weird if you would ask me.. How about other states, is it the same?

  • o i see and i like the tank alot idk if you looked at my tank but it is only a 55 galllon wioth oscars in it

  • nice tank setup, awesome

  • do u think that they will breed and how much was it for all that

  • They will not breed because I don't let the water get warm enough to trigger thier breeding cycle.

  • hey man i got peacock bass..but i was told the feeder fish from pet stores carry parasites not sure? i feed mine fresh worms from my backyard.i also set up mouse traps outside the house and feed them that too.

  • where do you get a tree stump like that?

  • Ebay....The stump came from Alaska and I got it on ebay!

  • damn, nice bass! but i was wondering.. whats wit the bubble on their lip? and how old are they?

  • the bubble on lip is because he keeps hitting his lip off of glass.

  • u sure cuz i just got a wild caught one(got it my self) and it had the bump...

  • i fish those things they live by my house i just throw my bait in there and they like nip then BITE -reel- -eat-

  • Nice tanks!

  • were did you get it i caught mine

  • damn, nice set up. all ive got is a 20 for my snake and a 30 turtle tank (hole cut in the side for low water level and pump)

  • way to go debbie downer

  • wtf are you talkin about?

  • beast

  • are those real stumps? if not, where did you get them?

  • They are real and I bought them off ebay for around $20.00. Just search "driftwood"

  • Whats the name of those plants and where did you get it? Nice bass.

  • those are fake plants, like the ones in the 'fake plant' section of walmart or something. -thats my guess- unless he bought them off ebay or something

  • that is a big ass fish

  • what would be a good tank for 2 or 3 bluegills? and how much?

  • id say 55 gallon at least, since they can get pretty big.

  • whats that song/?? its everywhere but wats it called. and sweet video boss

  • Sandstorm by Darude

  • Awesome tank!

  • nice setup bro, with the wood and the fake plants, and they clearly have lots of room in there. It's always nice to see someone take good care of their fish.

  • Nice Fish. What song is that in background?

  • Sandstorm by Darude

  • wats the fish in 2:40?

  • you should cast net for food to feed them :)

  • Great tank man largemouth bass are such a fun species to raise you should try out grass pickerel.... depending where you live they are quite common and simple to tank raise

  • Sweet man. How long have you had them?

  • Nice video love the music and nice largemouth bass i really want one

  • You wanna see fish carnage? Search YT for "Large mysterious fish eats a duck". YMMV

  • nice tank.

  • Bass, especially largemouths, love electronic music. Give him a glowstick, they fucking love those.

  • HAHA sick!!!! love the intro..DARUDE-Sandstorm........classic!!!

  • Is that a catfish? I mean I saw some sort of bottom feeder...

  • how do you get a pet bass? can buy them some where or do you have to catch them?

  • I think it's a crappie.

  • its a largemouth bass retard

  • Im not talking about the bass i know what a bass is idiot. im talking about the fish before the bass show up

  • its a spotted bass

  • nice man cool bass i got a largemouth a blue gill and 2 smallmouth the 2 smallmouth are corny and will prolly be piranha food when i get him but the largemouth and blue gill are cool man and they NEVER stop eating
