How do you keep brown sugar soft and fresh? We LOVE the Banana Seal and it keeps everything fresh right in the bag it comes in! Our website is: SaveTheBananaSeal
I dont steam mine, i put in in the oven with a waterbath about halfway up. I prefer when the top layer caramalises rather than steamed. Then again its my personal preference.
To all the complainers about, measurements: use your dog'on judgement, isn't that simple enough?! Besides, in trueth, there is no certainty of measuement; you have to tast your own amount of ingredient in order to get it just right to YOUR liking. Just be tactful and use your judgement and tast the product...and that's how you get it just right.
my grandmother used to make this for me before she died in 07 and my aunties didnt get the receipe from her. i tried his and it came out great...put in a little cognac like mawmaw and you got a bread pudding
Im just going to eyeball the ingredients......and maybe i will add my own little ingredient.....a teaspoon of ammaretto.....if thats how you spell it...LOL..but i bet it would be good...or maybe a splash of meyers dark rum...UMMM!
It looks delicious and sorry to complain, but, wouldn't it be better for the viewing public to know the amount and measure of the ingredients? i.e., How many cups &/or teaspoons of what.
The recipes are at their website. Click on "more info", it'll have a link. Go there and click on recipes, you'll find the amount and measure of the ingredients. This is nice so the chef doesn't have to worry about saying every little detail.

If you are giving a recipe, then it is necessary to give measurements. Stupid video.
