  • @magyarikristof - sorry for the mindless comment. I'm likely too old to appreciate Bon Jovi's rendition since I lived the Fogerty era and have played his work for years. BTW, I do like Bon Jovi's work. (5 stars for you)

    As he's introducing the song he mentions "a band that isn't even together anymore" refering to Status Quo...He got that wrong didn't he?!

    The Quo do the best version of this song in the studio and live. John Fogerty's version is also good. But this is just a pile of ole dog shit!!

  • That would be Bruce Springsteen's guitar player from the E Street Band. His name is Steven Van Zant. CLearly you're not a Springsteen fan, or you just didn't know. But anyway, being a John Fogerty fan, I prefer his version, not to mention the fact that people are forgetting it's John Fogerty's song in the first place.

  • This is an original song by John Fogerty . It was from the album john fogerty that came out back in the 70"s. I have the oringinal album and bought it way back when.
