  • Dear Cocotal 1,

I am not aware that Hinduism stops men and women from going together to beaches. There are Hindu festivals (eg. Makar Sankranti, Kumbh Mela) when millions of men and women take bath together in ponds, rivers etc. Many people in India do not know how to swim. The culture of going to beaches is not as strong in India as in some other societies but it is catching up.

Here you see some Indians who wanted to see the Caribbean Sea but had less than an hour to spare.

    Regards.

  • I have stayed real close to this Beach. But it was more west from here close to Maquatia at the Sharaton Hotel.

  • Thank you for all these videos which brought back my childhood. Respectfully, I have a particular question: Would the Indu Religion allow people of both genders to swim in a public beach site? I noticed you all do not swim but just enjoy both the sand, the sun, and ocean water waves from afar. Thank you. :-)

  • YOU'RE BRINGING ME BACK TO MY CHILDHOOD
