I got a serious question. Why is the cross considered such a holy symbol just because Jesus died on it, when the long history of the cross repesented a old traditional method of execution for hundreds of thounsands of criminals? Umm, how do you present spirituality on a movie screen, besides in words ???????...How can you measure the love of Christ on a movie screen ???? You can`t.. Mel Gibson portrayed Christ`s last hours PERFECTLY, that is why it was such a big hit.
You may have a point, but it was stressed on that it was the physical pain that killed Him. But He died of a broken heart. It was the separation from the Father that crushed the life out of Him. Perhaps this couldn't have been depicted, but it could have mentioned or at least not misled with the notion that it was the physicality of the issue.

Why is the cross considered such a holy symbol just because Jesus died on it, when the long history of the cross repesented a old traditional method of execution for hundreds of thounsands of criminals? Remember someone fell asleep and fell through? This was very late, after the Sabbath day. Paul kept the true Sabbath (Acts 17:2, Acts 18:4). So as they were there, on Saturday, it got late. On the moro of the 1st day, day time Sunday, Paul traveled all day. Thats not keeping a day holy. Thats traveling.

a) either a follower of God worshiping on Sunday

Last thing, I had not gotten to b4. It matters not to me what any Jewish rabbi has to say about the word of God. What matters to me, is what the word of God has to say about the word of God. I don't need someone to interpret it, the Bible explains itself very well. I cannot agree with this Rabbi, as Genesis 2:1-3 and Mark 2:27 have something very different to say. The Sabbath day of the 4th commandment was not for the Jews. Instead, it was for all of mankind. Genesis 2:1-3 and Mark 2:27.

Now centauro3333 better go search out history a little bit better. The Catholic church was started almost 300 years after Peter died. Jesus Christ did say that Peter would be the rock he built his church upon, but it wasn't the catholic church or any other denomination.

Study your Greek a little bit more, dear sir, Petros is the masculine form of Petra and this does not in any way alter or change the meaning of the word. Besides, the original language of scripture was Aramaic in which the word becomes "Cepha" and in Aramaic there is no masculine or feminine distinction. Which makes the original, " You are Cepha and upon this Cepha I shall build my church." The original Aramaic makes it quite clear upon who Christ Jesus founded His Church.

Mary is implied as highly important in this movie. Not to mention, most people that see this crap movie dont actually think to themselves.
Ask yourself, how much of the movie did they get from the Bible? Alot of it is extra biblical nonsense. Such as the snake near Jesus in the beginning, was that in the Bible? No, it was not.

But even though I have loved the Passion movie I agree with you completely, JudgeEden. It is nothing more than a worldly movie to stimulate peoples senses. I agree with this Vid. However I don't doubt Mel Gibsons movie affected and changes some lifes. It would've been nice if they had something showing the true passion instead of just the dark stuff. Not only was Jesus death a terrible thing to witness, but more importantly, it was a defeat over sin.

You may have a point, but it was stressed on that it was the physical pain that killed Him. But He died of a broken heart. It was the separation from the Father that crushed the life out of Him. Perhaps this couldn't have been depicted, but it could have mentioned or at least not misled with the notion that it was the physicality of the issue.

That's a good question EnigmasofToday. They, the group worldslastchance, it's not a person, revere Ellen G. White. Nuff said, if anyone would like to take the time and investigate Mrs. White they will find things way out of the realm of orthodoxy that I, as a born again Christian, both believe and follow. They do post nice little videos though, wolves in sheeps clothing.

Whether you are SDA or not you still follow Ellen G. White. She was a heretic, was not a born again Christian. She is not seated in the heavenlies with Jesus Christ, she is presently in Hades waiting for the Great White Throne judgement. All who are that judgement will be judged as unfit for the kingdom and thrown into the Lake of Fire with satan and the anti-Christ. I know your "group" does not believe that, but that doesn't mean it's not right. On a much more pressing note, are you regenerated

I could have said use the words ellen g. white false prophetess. You are leading people down the wrong path my friend, as nice as your videos might seem to be. Mrs. White and 7th Day Adventism are both outside the realm of Christian orthodoxy. Nothing personal:)

Let me ask you a few questions. Do you believe that one has to accept Mrs. white as infallible or they have no salvation? Do you believe that one can have immortality only on the condition that they come to Christ thru Mrs. White? Do you believe in soul sleep? Thank you for your time.

Indeed, according to the Bible those who die will remain in the grave until the resurrection. Those we went to sleep in Jesus will be awaiting for His second return quietly asleep in their graves. It will seem to them as a twinkle of an eye. When asleep we do not feel time. This is how it is with death.

@ Cor. 5:8, "absent from the body, present with the Lord." That is the hope of all regenerated born again believers. John MacArthur, J. Vernon McGee, Spurgeon, etc., etc., etc. believe that the second a believer dies he or she is present with the Lord. There is no "Soul" sleep, that is a made up doctrine propagated by the unregenerated. 1 Cor. 2:14, if a person is not born again the scriptures are foolishness to them because they must be spiritually discerned. They don't have the Holy Spirit.

Worlds last chance, so this means no one has gone to heaven or hell yet? They are asleep until judgment day? If so, then are the people who claim to have gone to hell or heaven and back havent really gone but is just some kind of unconscious dream? This is my understanding, I just want to see if anyone else agrees.
