Wavefunctions in general are complex imaginary, with their moduli being the probability of observing a given quantum state.
And if you play video games, quaternions are often used in tracking rotations. Imaginary numbers are heavily used in the algebra of quaternions.

I find it ridiculous how all these people are bragging about how they can do what you're talking about. They don't seem to realise shit gets more complicated as you get older. Sure I did simple algebra when I was 13 but doing it now as an 18 year old involves an insane amount of depth.

Guys, the advancement of education is always changing. My parents learned pre-algebra their senior year cuz that's as advanced as it got. So appearantly math wasn't as advanced as it is now when Vinny was in school. And I agree, math is INCREDIBLY hard to learn when you don't have a teacher.
