I must say... that this is honestly SAD... People just expect the plows to go by and clear them out... UHHH Where I live every one and their brother, mother, uncle, cousin and beyond have a pickup and a plow... if someone doesn't their neighbors will go and plow them out. Maybe I was born and raised in a small, tight community but you think the people of NE would have a little more consideration for their neighbors.... Like if you agree.
Also, get off your lazy butts and shovel because plowers are walking off the job left and right, because everyone is complaining about the job they've been doing. When I think they're doing their best. You have a plow, a blower, or a shovel- go clear some snow and stop whining.

When officials tell you to stay put - it shouldnt mean go driving and get on the roads home as fast as possible. This is no different from '96 or 2001 or any other blizzard Mother Nature has thrown at us.

1,700 snowplows. How come in Borough Park, Sunset Park the B11, B70 is still not running. Why are streets still not even touched by plows. why was this allowed to shut down the city. You took these people to use them only in elite neighborhoods. In Manhattan buses are running. Never really stopped. Upper East side, Midtown Flatiron district streets plowed beautiful. In Brooklyn lousy job. Now I know with Freddy Ferrer meant when he said the other New York.

Sunday night at 8:15PM I left 48th and 8th Avenue in Brooklyn. Walked to 49th and 8th Avenue. It looked like nothing was plowed. I heard no plows earlier. 50th, and 49th looked like it was not touched by plows. 9:15 I see a plow come down 50th, turn on to 8th Avenue going to Bay ridge.

Like this If you think new York has dropped the ball on this snowstorm, I didn't see one of these snow plows, its a damn shame that the news is covering up for this lack of readiness by the city, I saw transit buses stuck in snow with no snow tires i took a picture of a cop car stuck and stranded, now i have to walk across the frozen tundra of new York like i'm fukin wolverine.

I almost broke my damn foot last night slipping on a sheet of ice after walking 7 blocks in south jamaica queens!!! shit is crazy snow is waist deep. Aint no fucking plows and the trains aint running it's bullshit!
